Directions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a 2-quart casserole dish, stir together the sliced hot dogs, green beans and their liquid, and stewed tomatoes with their juice.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven until the juice is thickened, about 45 minutes. Remove from oven, stir again, and sprinkle the casserole with mozzarella cheese. Heat the broiler of the oven, and place the casserole under the broiler until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and starting to brown, about 5 minutes.

This is a pretty good kid-friendly recipe. My daughter liked it, but I thought it was a little bland. Next time, I think I'll season it a bit and use beef hot dogs instead of chicken to improve the flavor. Also, the liquid didn't thicken very much, but that may have been because I used petite diced tomatoes instead of stewed.

very good, added some garlic to it and pepper and no cheese. Top on rice and it is super.

This was so easy and really was surprisingly delicious! Very few ingredients so its quick to make. Kids would love this. I used mild Rotel diced tomatoes and chiles because that's all I had in the pantry and I think it made it even tastier. Thank you! Will make this again!

Something new with hotdogs, love it. We added some frozen mixed vegies and potato instead of the beans. Will be making it again and trying different meat :)

This was good but I used chipotle swiss sausages with a frozen corn mix of green and red peppers and onions because that's what I had -- my kids aren't picky so it worked out well! :)
