This recipe is perfect AS IS. The first time I made it, I made some modifications that I won't mention because they didn't add to the YUM factor. This time I did everything as written (except I do it in the crock pot) and it was fantastic! A keeper, for sure.

I made this recipe exactly as it is, no modifications. It's fabulous and rivels the best artichoke dip you'll get in any restaurant.

I haven't made this exact recipe but do make one very similar. I just wanted to give a suggestion of something I do when I make this dip. I saute mushrooms and put them on the top for say the last 10 minutes of cooking. We love mushroom and this dip so it is a perfect combination. I alwasy wish I had a second dish to pop into the oven - It's always gone before I get any!

This was the best! I've been looking for a good spinach artichoke dip for a while and this is it! A huge hit at our last party. Now I just need a good tortilla recipe.

I made this, as others suggested, using sour cream in lieu of mayonnaise, the rest of the recipe I followed exactly. It's good, I suppose, but I don't like it enough to make it again. It feels like its missing some flavour (maybe because of the sour cream?) and the texture was a little thicker than I normally like.

I was a bit disapointed in the flavor. Served it to friends and the consensus was that it was very bland. If I made it again, I would have to add LOTS more seasoning.

I always have to at least double this recipe when I make it goes so quickly! I put mine in a crock pot for about 2 hours on high. Once everything is all melted together i turn it to low and serve! I also use shredded parmesan instead of the grated that is recommended. It's always a winner!

Followed the recipe exactly, the result was much to salty for us. I would recommend using garlic powder instead of garlic salt!

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving last year and my boyfriend's Grandpa stood at the table and ate pretty much the entire batch. I substituted plain fat free yogurt for the mayo and mixed the mozzarella cheese in with the rest of the ingredients. I put it all in a small crock pot and let it cook until hot and bubbly. I've baked it in the oven as well, but much prefer it in the crock pot because it stays nice and gooey the whole time. I serve this with pretzel crisps instead of chips or crackers, I think it gives it a nice balance of flavor that way. I have also used Wheat Thins and they are just as tasty.

Delicious dip! I really could eat this with a spoon, well, actually I did have a few spoonfuls. I made as written except I didn't realize I didn't have any mozzarella, so I had to top this with sharp provolone, which worked just fine. Next time I will be sure to use the mozzarella though. This is the closest I have had to what's served in a restaurant. I served this with tortilla chips and garnished with diced roasted red peppers. They really complimented the flavors in the dip very well. I will use this recipe often, thanks for sharing :)

I liked this dip a lot and it was a hit at the party that I took it to. This was my first time making it and I decided to put the whole package of spinach in. Next time I think I will follow the recipe and only put in a 1/2 cup because it was too thick and hard to scoop with chips with that much spinach in there. All in all, a keeper. This one will go in my recipe box!

I followed some advice of others: used sour cream instead of mayo, added 1/8tsp cayenne, and mixed all the cheese together. I did use the basil plus 2 minced garlic cloves, and used about 1 cup fresh spinach chopped, a bar of the reduced fat cream cheese, and buttered the 8x8 glass baking dish before putting dip into it. I let the cream cheese come to room temp before mixing and it mixed just fine. Used 1/2 cup shredded Italian cheese instead of 1/4 cup parm. + 1/4 cup mozz. Lastly, I sprinkled a pinch or two of the Italian cheese on top before putting it in the oven. Pretty tasty! Definitely party worthy.

This is the real deal! Look no further. So fresh it is better than restaurant dip! Great served with tortilla chips but even better served with Rosemary and Olive Oil Triscuits!!!

So Good! Great recipe. I used other reviewers suggestions and used sour cream instead of mayo, also added the mozz to the mixture! Doubled for a party.

I have made this twice, both times, I used sour cream instead of mayonaise, both times I made a double batch. The 1st time, it came out good, but too thick. The 2nd time, I added about 1/4 cup more sour cream and the consistency came out much better! All in all, this is a wonderful recipe!!

I have made this recipe for many parties and everyone always loves it. However, it is very garlicky with the cloves and the garlic salt, so I usually reduce one or the other. I also always double the recipe because it goes fast!!
