Added garlic and a chopped red chili, plus a bit more honey than called for. I'm not very good about measuring and probably added too much water, but found the sauce a bit thin. Flavour very nice- would up the ginger a bit next time.

This was ok. Aside from increasing the amount of sauce for rice, I followed the recipe exactly. I thought the marinade ingredients would really come through, but here was just no "wow" factor. Husband felt the same.

I'm not sure what I did wrong. I browned the pork. Made the glaze. Put it all in a baking dish and baked for 30 minutes uncovered. The pork was DRY and the glaze was just liquid and the meat did not have any flavor at all. It was TERRIBLE and we DID NOT EAT IT. I would love suggestions because I really had high hopes for this one.

good basic recipe that you can do alot with to alter the flavor to your liking. My husband likes spicy so I added a bit of cayenne to kick it up a notch, nice flavor :)

These are pretty good. I didn't have ginger so I had to leave that out. I only cooked for 40 minutes then added some flour and butter to liquid and made a gravy.

Delicious!! I made this dish with 1 inch thick porkchops, so they took a little longer to cook in the oven. I served it with rice and the sauce was wonderful with the rice. I put more honey in it like som people suggested. I will definitly make this again.

Very good and very easy. Used 6 tablespoons honey and uncovered the dish during the last 1/2 hour of cooking to brown.

This recipe was just delicious! The only changes I made, was I added 2 cloves chopped garlic to the sauce, I marinated the porkchops for 2 hours before cooking and, I added 1 tbsp. cornstarch mixed in 2 tbsp. water to sauce to thicken it up. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing!!!

Only thing I added was to sprinkle cinnamon and a salt/herb combination on the chops before doing them in the skillet. Very, very tasty chops - lots of compliments.

Good flavor, but the sauce was thin and not a lot of flavor transferred to the meat. I think either thickening the sauce or marinading the meat overnight would help.

Excellent! Added a bit more honey as other users suggested and it was a big hit. I also added onions and red/green peppers for visual effects and served over rice. Will definitely make again.

Just made & ate these. Pretty good. Not spectacular but good flavor. Re: other reviews - go easy on the soy sauce & definitely increase the honey. Don't be afraid - it doesn't get too sweet. Added minced garlic to mix. I sauteed sliced green peppers, then added to the chops about 10 min into baking time. Also took suggestion to thinly slice onion & layer under chops - loved this. Finally I did the roux thing, spooned on top of chops & white rice. Ate with sliced fresh tomatoes and a little S&P. Overall, easy & quick (I only made for 2).

Very good, but I wouldn't necessarily call them honeyed pork chops. The ginger and soy sauce are more powerful than the honey flavor. I also added 2 cloves of garlic and a dash of Worcesteshire sauce.

Edible but not very good. The sauce was really watery and it didn't mix too well with the juices from the pork.

i was looking for a different way to make pork chops and decided on this one, was very pleased with it. the pork chops were very tender and moist with a great flavor. the only change that i made was to use balsamic vinegar in place of the soy sauce because i was out of the soy sauce.
