Pork chops are hubby's favourite and I've been looking for something different to do with them. This dish was just right!

This was absolutely delicious!!!!! The only deviations I made from the original recipe were to rub the chops with brown sugar before searing, watching them closely, and flipping every minute and a half or so to keep from burning while in the frying pan, and throwing an extra squirt of honey on top of the chops once in the baking pan as well as an extra TBS of honey into the soy mixture. I made sure to flip once during cooking to thoroughly saturate the meat with the YUMMY honey/soy mixture, and when doing so made sure to throw an extra honey squirt onto the exposed top again. Once this was done cooking I threw 2 TBS of butter into a sauce pan over med-low heat, whisked in 2 TBS of flour and a splash of milk and then added the liquid from the baking pan. It got a tad thick so I just added an extra TBS or 2 of water, whisking it all together for an amazing sauce/gravy for the meat and side dish of white rice. To compliment the sweetness of the dish I chose a balance of tart with my vegetables and prepared roasted garlic/lemon broccoli. HUGE hit - will DEFINITELY make again!!!!!!!

I would marinate next time b/c it lacked deep flavor. I followed recipe to a T & it was dry (I cooked -covered- for 45 min). I gave 2 stars b/c the sauce had potential, but was too thin. It didn't thicken enough to stick to the chops which would have helped add more flavor to meat.

Very good!! I added a touch more honey, and I didn't have onion so used a bit of onion salt, it was good, but would still be good without the onion, also had it loosely covered the whole time. Got a good review from a very picky eater! This one is keeper!!

We have this quite often. Quick and tastey. I make it with 2 chops or pork cubed using other ingredient amounts for 6. The extra ingredient amounts make a wonderful sauce for the rice.

I add 1/4 cup House of Tsang Stir Fry Sauce and let the whole thing marinate in the fridge for 3 hours or so. SO YUMMY!

Easy, fast, moist, and delicious! I sliced the onions and placed them in the bottom of the baking pan, and covered for the first half of the baking time, as suggested by a couple of other cooks. Don't know if it made any difference in the moistness, but didn't think it would hurt, and feared the dreaded dry chop!

This recipe did not turn out how I expected. I used the suggestions such as cut back on the soy sauce, use more ginger, let the chops marinate and add flour to the mixture to thicken. The sauce still did not stick to the chops and it became clumpy after baking. I used chops that had the bone in. They did come out tender because I covered them like someone suggested. I also only let them cook for about 45 minutes. I even browned them before baking. I don't know I was just disappointed. This is not a keeper for me.

Like many others, I marinated the chops in a honey; soy sauce; white wine & olive oil mix for about 3 hours prior to cooking. Then, instead of baking, I put the chops into my Emile Henry crockpot, covered them with the ingredients almost exactly as per the recipe ( except I doubled the amounts & halved the soy sauce ) & slow cooked in the oven ( 120 C ) for about 2 and a half hours. Absolutely great and the drippings made a fantastic sauce after reducing for a few minutes.

MMM... Everyone loved this. I added a little more ginger because we like food alittle spicier. I left everything else the same and it was great.

Love this sauce! I used chicken instead of pork. I made the sauce the night before and let my chicken marinade in it over night, then I grilled it on my indoor grill. It was incredible, it has become a regular recipe for my family.

Very, Very good. I did not change a think other than using boneless chops. If followed the recipe EXACTLY and they were very moist and very good. The sauce is amazing. I served with some a nice side of rice and veggies with a nice green salad. Very Good.
