This bread was great!!! I did as another reviewer suggested and added a 1/2 cup of brown sugar. It turned out wonderful. My kids ate it with some honey butter and came back for more!!!! Very good bread. This recipe will be a regular in our home!!!

This bread is perfect. I love that it calls for simple and few ingredients. It cooks up perfectly, tastes great, and even slices very well. I used the exact ingredients called for in the recipe, did not omit or substitute anything. The only thing I did differently was processed it on the bread machine's dough cycle and then baked the bread in the oven instead of the bread machine.

I didn't use a bread machine (don't have one). My modifications: used all very fine whole wheat flour and added about 1.5 Tbs vital wheat gluten. Nice, fluffy texture, which is saying something for all whole wheat bread. I baked it at about 375 for about 40 min.

very good! Finally a bread I really liked from my breadmaker, and I baked it in the oven! good flavor and texture, sliced like a dream. Can't wait to make a toasted sandwich with this tomorrow!

This bread is incredible! Fluffy with an amazing flavor. I used sugar in place of honey since I didn't have any. Also tried the three risings as recommended but two would have been enough. Also used regular all purpose flour in place of bread flour and results were still awesome. Oh and I added a tbs of gluten for the cup of whole wheat flour. Will definitely make this bread again!

I followed this recipe exactly as written for Christmas dinner and it was good. I will surely keep this in my recipe box for when I need an easy bread machine recipe. I wasn't overly blown away by it but it must have been good, there was none left after dinner!

i made this for thanksgiving and it was a big hit. was super easy to make, i felt funny taking credit because the bread machine did all the work. will definitely make this again!
