My family felt the orange juice was just too much the first time we tried this. It tasted more like Sunday morning orange juice chicken than Honey-Nut chicken. On the second try I replaced the orange juice with chicken broth, and it was much better. I left all other ingredients alone. The honey flavor was there, and the peanuts were not overpowered by the juice. Served over brown rice, with a little Sriracha hot sauce, it was very good! I gave it 4 stars due to the overpowering orange juice in the original recipe.

On it's own, this is a great recipe... but I really don't like cooking veggies by themselves, so I made a few alterations. 1. Velvet your chicken! Makes a huge difference!!! Google it. 2. I double the chicken, add snow peas, water chestnuts, sliced onion, and mushrooms. 3. For the sauce I added fresh mango juice (I've got a juicer) and double the most of ingredients for the sauce portion, minus a tablespoon of soy sauce. Suddenly this is the best stir fry I've ever made in my life!!

This is good, but 4.5 stars. Not as yummy as the kabobs.

Fantastic recipe!!! I literally only had these ingredients on hand and happened across this recipe. Rather than celery I used broccoli and I did add garlic to the veggies. As others have recommended, I think the addition of pepper flakes and green onion would be phenomenal and will try that next time, as there will certainly be a next time!

My husband and I thought this was just alright. All you could really taste was the tanginess of the orange juice. The sauce really needed some additional flavours. Maybe some more ginger (fresh instead of dried) or red pepper flakes?

This was very good. My family all liked it. I also added a cup of brocolli to the stir fry and a tblspoon of orange marmelade to the liquid mixture. I made with a side of rice but the left-overs I mixed in with spegetti noodles. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

It's very tasty adn easy to make. It would be better for me if it were spicy by adding some hot peppers, but that's just me.

I cut the OJ back to 1/2 cup, and I still found the orange taste a tad overpowering. I cut the honey back and added a little bit of soy sauce. I also added minced garlic and water chesnuts. Substituted broccoli for the celery. I enjoyed it much more than I would have the original way. I liked the overall taste, though. Would make again using even less OJ.

We all really enjoyed this recipe. I think that there are a few things that are helpful however. I substituted broccoli for celery---2 cups of celery just was too much for me. Also, they say 2 TSP of oil to stir fry and this isn't enough at all, it doesn't even coat the bottom of the skillet. The veggies need to be cooked quite a long time-I think I did 20 minutes and they were still very hard. I also added the peanuts to the veggie mix and cooked them together. The sauce is very sweet-not too sweet but it's not a sweet/sour taste. I like my Asian-inspired dishes to have a bit more "kick" to them. All and all, it was really good and we will make it again. It is a healthy meal with low saturated fat which is always great.
