Adding about a 1/4 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger to this fruit salad puts it over the top. Refreshing and delicious!

... as I came to review this I realize I completely forgot to add the mandarin oranges - I'm sure they were delicious, but this recipe had earned 5 stars from me anyways. Six people demolished it and one literally sipped the leftover juice from the serving bowl. The dressing is mild and pleasant and the acidity blends everything together beautifully - I don't enjoy bananas but even I liked eating them in here. I didn't want to make it far in advance to save the bananas and without a good long drain the canned fruit made it a little soggy - next time I think I'll omit the pineapple juice in the dressing and just let it ooze out of the fruit. Thanks so much for sharing!

When I started making this, I thought I had everything on hand except the kiwis. Apparently I'm out of mandarin oranges (so I used peaches), and bf must be gobbling the bananas bc I only had one left. I used lemon peel instead of lime peel. We both tasted the citrus, which was nice, but didn't taste the honey or the pineapple juice, so not really sure why those are added. Thanks for a quick, easy fruit salad.

tired of the same old birthday sweets at the office everyone brings every time someone has a birthday? Take this and muffins! An actual breakfast instead of cake at 9 in the morning like usual. Added fresh blueberries and black raspberries I had in the freezer from summer. Add any fruit. I doubled the amount of honey and lime mixture since I added more fruit.

Love this! Light, refreshing and oddly enough (for this group) - a crowd pleaser! Omit the grated lime peel - but everything else is the same.

This is so fantastic and so easy... a great way to get your daily fruit helping into your diet! Everytime I open my fridge, it calls out to me! I've made for friends (baby showers, brunches) and family, and have always received rave reviews. Thanks!

This is a nice mix of fruits and looks pretty in the bowl, but make sure you don't plan on leftovers as it disintegrates quickly into mush (especially the bananas!)

Awesome fruit salad. I've had this for breakfast for the past two weeks. I did not add bananas and subsituted apples. Everyone should try this recipe!
