In addition to making great wings, this also works as a wonderful marinade for chicken breasts.

Great recipe. I had split chicken breasts (bone in) and cut them into thirds, baked then for a bit after frying as they were much meatier than wings would be, and then doubled the sauce directions (used a tupperware container to shake the sauce onto the chicken pieces) and it was wonderful. I have to wonder if the previous review where they couldn't taste the lime, skipped the grated lime zest because it really made the dish.

These were excellent! I love lime, so I will be making these again often. One trick to try for those who like crispier chicken wings is to let the wings sit in the flour (in the refrigerator, or course) for at least 30 minutes, longer if you have the time. It helps the flour to stick and makes the wings crispier. This is the secret to making them just like restaurant wings!

I made these wings along side the normal, familiar Buffalo style wings, and these were so much better! So flavorful and easy to prepare. Thanks Jana! Will definitely use this recipe again!!!!

Make sure to cook on a broiler so the bacon fat drips away. It is a little bland; I kicked it up a notch by adding some tobasco. Wonderful!

excellent stuff... though initially i was quite apprehensive about trying something with honey.. it turned out fantastic... everyone liked it :) i made a few changes in the recipe though... marinated the chicken with a bit of salt, ginger and garlic paste for about 2 hours... lightly washed the marinate off.. coat with flour and fry.I also sprinkled toasted seasame seed on top for presentation and taste! I also stir fried the chicken in the sauce under low fire for the honey to caramelise and coat the chicken better.....yummy.... I'm gonna make them again soon :)~~~~

tried and follow this recipe to the letter. it was alright although the flavor of honey lime never infused into the chicken wings. if i make next time, i will marinate the wings first.

This is a nice addition when we serve hot wings. The glaze is wonderful and I've even used it when grilling tuna and on kabobs with chicken and shrimp.

Very unique flavor, I took these to a party and had many requests for the recipe. I added a few dashes of hot sauce to the sauce mixture

my knuckles suffered for the lime zest, but it was definitely worth it...these were off the chain!

This was delicious and very easy to make. I added cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes to make the sauce extra spicy for my boyfriend. He loved it... The only thing I would do different is add less honey next time!

These are good, and would be better with a bit more salt in the sauce for flavoring.

I have to say this was a great recipe. My kids didn't rate it very high but they just like plain fried chicken with ketchup so they aren't good judges. My husband absolutely loved them and said we should make them for a gathering we're having next weekend.

Excellent! I didn't have chicken wings so I cut some boneless breast into thick strips instead and served with rice pilaf. Awesome taste -- a margarita would be a nice addition! Thanks - will definitely keep this one!

WOW! Very good...my tastebuds couldn't decide if these were sweet or sour but they were good. I made 18 wings AND 3 chicken breasts (cut into strips) with this method and enough "sauce" for all. Will keep this tantilizing recipe around. Thanks Jana!
