After reading all of the reviews for this recipe, I just had to try it. This recipe was very easy and turned out GREAT! The meatballs alone were excellent, they came out extremely tender. I didn't double the sauce as many others did, because I thought it made more than enough for the 2 pounds of meatballs. I will definitely be using the sauce recipes with other meats like chicken.

Very, very good. I followed the recipe exactly, and my husband commented several times how good they are, even as leftovers. The honey sauce is rather rich, and as a main dish, I might reduce the honey and add more ketchup depending on who I was cooking for. As they are, they would be perfect appetizers or party food if made small and served with toothpicks.

These meatballs were so delicious! Even if you (for some strange reason) don't enjoy the sauce, the meatballs are great without the sauce! I made fried rice to go with them, and my husband and I loved it. These would also be great for a party. I used lean ground beef, and they were very juicy.

I followed the recipe exactly except for the type of meat that I used. I used 1 lb ground bison and 1 lb ground turkey. Fantastic. It went very well with egg noodles, my boyfriend devoured the entire plate! Thanks for sharing.

It was ok. Not out of this world good. I used more honey than called for and my family thought it was too sweet. I don't think I will make it again.

I intend to use this recipe for an upcoming outdoor party as an appetizer. I will make a lot more of the glaze more of a sauce and keep it warming in a crock pot. I may even use just the meatball recipe next time I make meatloaf or burgers. The sauce is sweet and tastes similar to Asian sauces. The next time I make this I will reduce the amount of honey. I would love to try this glaze with chicken maybe add some toasted sesame seeds or with just some heat added like chili sauce or some other type of hot sauce the garlic (i used 2 whole heads of garlic) is nice but I wouldn't mind a kick of heat.

This is THE BEST of what I consider to be an Asian meatball. They taste exactly like the meatballs you get from an asian buffet. My kids DEVOUR these meatballs. I put them over rice and serve w/ egg rolls or pot stickers and there's nothing left over. They're even better taking them to a potluck in a crockpot.

I have made this quite a few times now and it is our favourite meal. I always half the meatball part and leave the sauce the same, it's always nice to have a little extra. I also add onion powder and garlic powder to the meatballs just to add a little extra flavour. The sauce needs no changes, it is out of this world. 5 Stars!!!!

I made this for my picky eaters and they loved it!!! The only thing that I did different was to add garlic powder to the meatballs in addition to what I added to the sauce. My kids wanted this the next day for lunch. Many thanks for the recipe.

Was not impressed with this recipe. Thought it tasted similiar to meatloaf. Too much ketchup for our tastes and the sauce was very thick.

I've never been much for meatballs. THESE CHANGED MY MIND! Excellent flavor. Followed the recipe as written. The flavor of the sauce reminds me of General Tsao's chicken in the Wal-Mart deli that you can buy by the pound. In fact, my husband requests that I make my chicken strips and put the sauce from THIS recipe on them. This will be something I make regularly. I served it over a bed of egg noodles and a side of carrots.

I've prepared this dish 3 times now and each time everyone loves it! I'm a garlic lover so I put several more cloves of garlic in than it calls for. This is a delicious recipe.

This recipe was fantastic, and made with ingredients I had on the shelf and in the refrigerator. I served with rice as a side dish. You could use frozen meatballs if you were in a real hurry.

I let my 14 yr old son pick out a meatball recipe and he choose this one. Great Choice. I used buffalo meat, 1/2 panko crumbs and 1/2 crushed croutons for the bread crumbs. Excellent, he ate nearly the whole batch...

I am only rating the sauce, I used another meatball recipe that is a favorite from this site (Tantalizing turkey and blue cheese meatballs)and thought they went pretty well together...a nice combo of sweet & spicey. My husband however didn't agree, but absolutely loved the sauce and thought it went great with the rice & broccoli I served on the side. This is a very versatile sauce that could also be used with other meets...I am thinking chicken or pork...more of a Chinese type dish.
