I'm sorry, I didn't really like this recipe. It was very dry and pretty bland. I ended up using most of it for stuffing because no one was eating it. It did make decent stuffing:-) Adding some milk and sugar might help, but I don't think I'll make this one again.

I thought it was good...better served warm with a little extra honey... my husband LOVED it (and he's not normally a cornbread eater!!) I would make it again.

Since I didn't have heavy cream I just used milk and I added extra honey. It turned out great. Very sweet. I enjoyed eating it soaked in milk.

Used skim milk, as I han't any cream on hand. The bread came out great. It was really yummy. It wasn't overly sweet. Used white corn meal. Took no time to prepare. Yumyumyum.

This has become my favorite cornbread recipe. I've found that half and half,buttermilk,or whole milk works just fine instead of the cream.

This is a great recipe. I tasted the baking powder so I'll scale it down to 2-1/2 tsp next time I cook it. I used 2 percent milk instead of the cream. Also, I felt it needed a little salt, so I'll start our with 1/2 teaspoon next time. All in all, I think the basic recipe lays the foundation for a great Cornbread.

Really good! I found it a bit too sweet. Since the honey gives great flavor, I'd cut the white sugar in half. Works fine with milk instead of cream.

Good cornbread if you like it on the sweeter side. I love honey, so enjoyed the flavor. This is definitely best served hot with butter. Didn't have cream so just used the skim (!) milk on hand and it came out fine. Doubled the recipe and made in 13x9 pan. Went a little light on the sugar and might used less next time. Very nice with our stew.
