Loved this easy delicious recipe. My 3 professional dessert eaters all under the age of 8 gave it rave reviews. Will definitely make again. VR

Made this as a dessert for a book reading group I have. We read "Secret Life of Bees" so I thought this would be a cute refreshment. Very moist and terribly good. Many of the ladies loved it and asked for the recipe. Took the suggestion to layer the cinn. and brown sugar mixture and swirl, it turns out very pretty. Love it when something this easy taste so great. Thanks!

This is a good cake, read the reviews of others and decided to make minor changes. I only used half a cup of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. I also changed the glaze only because it did not taste right. I used 2 cups confectioners sugar, 3 tbls milk and 1 tsp of vanilla. With those changes the cake was great, but more like a coffee cake with glaze. All in all I will make this again, its an easy recipe.

This was sooo yummy, although I think it is better as a breakfast cake than a dessert. I followed the recipe exactly but used a greased and floured bundt pan (baked for 55 mins). Next time I will mix all the ingredients together instead of layering. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that my glaze did not come out the way others' did in their pictures. It slid down the cake immediately and gathered at the bottom. Still tasted great though!!

This cake is great! I did make little changes I fixed mine in a bunt pan and I used condenced milk and a little more vanilla. I added a little regular milk until the icing was not so thick. Great recipe! Thanks

I followed the recipe as provided and was very happy with the results. For those who enjoy sweet, cinnamon desserts...you will love this! It is quick, simple, and delicious. I plan to keep the recipe handy for those times I crave cinnamon rolls but don't have the time to make them.

I was going to a convention, so I needed a cake that would travel with me and didn't need to be on ice. We all drank coffee in our hotel rooms, and I wanted something different than donuts. When the cake cooled and was firm, I cut it up into two inch squares so it would be easy to grab one while drinking coffee. Everyone loved it. Very sweet, but with a hot cup of strong coffee it was a hit. I did add 1/8 teaspoon almond extract, 3/4 cup of finely chopped walnuts, and a little water to the powder sugar frosting. I've never told anyone the name of the cake, but people were telling me it tasted like a honey bun. A winner!

This was so sweet, and over all was the worst cake I've ever made. I even left off the glaze! I thought the sour cream would add some kind of depth, like maybe a subtle creamy tangy flavor(like in cream cheese) but it didn't. The only flavor this cake has is sugar and I want a more complex flavor than that in my cakes. What a waste of eggs.

This cake is awesome. I have made it for work and they rave over it. My daughter won her schools baking contest in fifth grade with this. VERY GOOD considering that her school goes all they way up to twelvth grade. I'm back again for the recipe because they keep asking for it and I can't find it. Thanks!!!!

This cake tastes delicious! I made it for Thanksgiving of '07 for my boyfriend's family, and everyone loved it. Next time I make it, I may use clear imitation vanilla, however, for the glaze because real vanilla tinted it a brown color. I'll admit it did not look too pretty. I winded up cutting the cake into slices so it would look more presentable. It was, and I will definitely make it again!

Allright the taste gets a 4 star rating. It was pretty good, I did add a little extra cinnamon because we like cinnamon. However, I did use a bundt cake pan because I saw the picture with the recipe and it looked great. I followed the directions as stated to put the batter in a UNGREASED pan, but that was for a 9x13 glass baking pan and the cake did not come out cleanly. The bottom stuck on the pan, so if anyone uses a bundt pan my suggestion is to grease with a spray. I will make this again, but I will use a greased pan.
