I used Firehouse chili and Fritos corn chips for this recipe. It was pretty good, not as spicy as I was expecting it to be. I did top with a little bit of mild cheddar cheese just before serving. If I make this recipe again I would probably only make it using homemade chili because I think it would be just that much better. Also, I only used half of the water that the recipe calls for, and I still feel it was a little runnier then I would have liked it to be. My suggestion would be to forgo the water addition depending on what kind of chili you are using. If you use the full amount of water in this recipe you will have very soggy chips.

My boyfriend rather liked this. I did tinker a wee bit with the recipe (sorry!) because of what I had on hand. Instead of chili powder, I used about a tbs and a half of taco seasoning. I also didn't have corn chips on hand, so I made a cornbread batter and spread that on top, and baked it at 450 for 20min. Thank you for the yummy recipe! ^^
