From now on I will use this recipe every time I cook a turkey. The drippings made amazing gravy!

This is my new recipe I will be using from now on. My turkey was so moist and delicious. The last hour of cooking I took out all the liquid, this made the turkey nice and golden.

I found this recipe last year for christmas. My husband and I wanted to do a big christmas for a bunch of our friends and neither of us has even done anything like this before. This turkey was the BEST turkey we, and our friends, have ever had!!! It was so easy to make and it will definitly become THE turkey we make.

I made this for two Christmas' in a row and it's perfect. My 12-13 pound turkeys cook faster, so I had to fix the time last year so I'd have a presentation turkey :) I use the low-sodium broth and no salt on the bird. The butter makes the breast so succulent and I never liked the white meat before this.

Way too much salt, I cut it by half, also added a dash of poultry seasoning and stuffed with cornbread sausage stuffing. Filter the juice and add flour over low heat with another dash of poultry seasoning for a wonderful gravy.

This was okay. I have stolen the "pats of butter under the skin" bit from this recipe and combined it with the "Perfect Turkey" recipe. We really prefer our turkey brined - it just makes it so juicy.

WOW! I made this turkey for my first complete Thanksgiving dinner and it is sooo good. In fact, I went and picked up a few more turkey because it was so good I knew I didnt want to wait another year to have it again. SO easy to make, and I made sure it was done not by the time it had baked, but the internal temperature. I think I ended up cooking it a bit longer than the directions said, but when I did take it out, it tasted perfect! SO moist and juicy. And to get a bit of crisp from the crust, I uncovered it and increased the temperature (also helped cook it faster!). I've collected a bunch of turkey recipes (didnt know which one to try), but dont need them anymore because this is #1!!!! Also from the butter, bouillon and chicken broth it made excellect drippings for gravy. I'm telling you, the BEST Thanksgiving I've EVER had!! Next year at my house everyone!!!!!

Very tender & the flavor is PERFECT!! The only thing I didn't care for is that the turkey sits in a 1/2 pan of broth thru the cooking process & the bottom half doesn't get brown-stays white & wet. I think the next time I make it, I'll dump off part of the broth when I take the foil off.

This recipe saved Thanksgiving. . . so incredibly easy, too. Uber-moist, delicious flavor. I now use this method anytime I'm roasting a whole chicken - it's THAT GOOD!

Absolutely delicious! Frankly, I just wanted to try it because as a Michigander, I loved the name. Of course the 5 star rating helped. My husband made this today while I was at work. We came home to a wonderful thanksgiving dinner in March:) He is now the official Turkey maker - due to this recipe.

This is the best turkey recipe I've ever tasted. I'm not a fan of white meat because it is usually dry but not with this recipe. The meat is juicy and tender all the way through and the recipe is an easy one. I made a turkey with this recipe for my work Thanksgiving party and it got rave reviews. Even my boss who is in the catering business wanted to know how the meat could be so tender! The only thing that I had a problem with was the fact that it was so tender that the meat fell off the bones making it tough to get it out of the roaster. Maybe it doesn't look like the traditional turkey because you can't really carve it in the traditional way but, I'll give that up for incredibly edible and flavorful turkey any day. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us! A total winner in my book.
