This is a great pudding to have like at 9pm when you're craving something sweet!! I love sugary things and it seemed a bit sweet for me, I might add less sugar. Also, I followed another's advice and dissolved the sugar and cornstarch in water before adding to milk so there would be no clumps, I also added a bit more cornstarch because of other reviews that said it didn't set, mine did fine. I would describe this pudding as easy and good but not a very rich pudding, I might call it albino pudding, it's so white and clear!! thanks rosemary

u have to boil ur mixture to fully gelatinize the cornstarch. i havn't made ur recipe. but thats something that u should do to prevent it from weeping.

Great taste. Lousy texture! Lumpy lumpy. Even after whisking. It was almost enough to make me gag. Maybe I'll mess around with the recipe to see if there's a way to make the texture better, because I really liked the taste (my husband REALLY liked it!)

This is a nice, easy recipe. To make it with no lumps, just mix dry ingredients and milk together, turn on the heat, and stir constantly. To change things up, sometimes I add some cocoa to make chocolate pudding, or some cinnamon, nutmeg, cooked rice and raisins for a rice pudding.

I followed another reviewers advice by putting all the dry ingredients in the saucepan first and adding cold milk. That way the cornstarch would dissolve. Then I heated it up and followed the rest of the directions. Turned out perfect, not lumpy and just the right consistency of pudding. Tasted great too. Will definitely make again.

This went together very fast. Mine was a bit 'spotted' with teeny tiny lumps that I didnot stir well enough...but It tasted good and It was easy and I had all the ingredients on hand and it took minimal time to prepare. Mine had looked like thickend milk, But tatsed wonderful. Will save this one!!

DEEE-LICIOUS! This pudding was setting up before I got the butter into it. If you follow the recipe EXACTLY, you won't have any trouble. Waiting for the milk to get hot before adding the sugar mixture is critical. Also, be sure to SLOWLY add in the sugar/cornstarch. I didn't have any lumps. All in all, this pudding is delicious, easy to make, and economical. Don't be afraid to try it.

Yummy! Some have said it didn't thicken up after chilling...2 things...make sure you use the correct amount of corn starch as this is what thickens it and make sure you cook it long enough. Although it says not to let it boil, it's important that it cook long enough. I used 2% milk. I also added a touch of almond.

I agree with the other reviewer that the taste was great, but that it didn't really firm up...is it because I didn't cook it for long enough? I did cook it until it coated the spoon...I'm not sure.

I usually make rice pudding, but this was good, and very easy. I added 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract in addition to the vanilla. I had to reheat on the stove to get it to thicken. A good basic start to add to...

Tastes great! To avid clumps I mixed the corn starch in 2 tablespoons of cold water, then mixed in the sugar and added it to the hot milk. It came out beautifully. Unfortunately I only had half the starch the recipe called for, so it did not firm up as much as I would like. I'll try again!

it is a normal vanilla puding, it was good but only enough for 2 people. Also I didn't follow the recipe because it would make lumps, so I add the starch into the pan before heating and mixed well.Later when I looked at the reviews I saw that many people ahd problem with that. But mine was good! :) I recommend using caramel sauce on top.

This recipe, even when mixed with a little milk, it clumped. I had to use extra milk, vanilla, and cornstarch for it to even taste a little good. not worth the time.
