love these! they are very filling and flavor is great!my 4 yr old son eats alot of pancakes and waffels so its way cheaper to have this set aside then just add egg and milk. love the whole wheat

I LOVED HOW MY PANCAKES TURNED OUT...ME & MY CHILDREN LOVED THEM....I MADE ENOUGH OF THE MIXTURE TO LAST US FOR @ LEAST 6MONTHS OR SO..I WILL DEFINATELY PASS ON THIS RECIPE TO FRIENDS.

This is a fantastic recipe. My family loves them (I have a husband and two year old son). I make the dry ingredients ahead of time and then portion out what I need to make fresh pancakes in the morning. I'll be making these again and again. Thanks!

Wonderful! My teen daughter has been pestering me to buy pancake mix, cuz "real" pancakes are "too hard" - now she can have homemade even when she's too lazy to do it from scratch. :) AND these came out BEAUTIFUL!

Good base, with a lot of potential. Definitely needs a pinch of salt. As another reviewer suggests, probably 1 tsp. per full batch would be about right. If you do not want the added salt, try cinnamon and a pinch of cloves or nutmeg. Other good additions would be vanilla, ground flax seed and/or rolled oats. You can also get creative with your liquids -- I love the buttermilk idea. How about almond or soy milk? Maybe mix in some pumpkin puree for a seasonal flair... Have fun with it. It's extremely versatile.

I am so extremely upset by this recipe!! I started this thing looking at the ingredients to see if I had enough milk and eggs, since it is just me, I figured I would cut this in half. I put all the dry ingredients into the bowl (1/2 recipe) then read additional ingredients for pancakes, 1 egg and 3/4 cup milk. Okay, I added that plus some vanilla. DIDN'T EVEN MAKE A DENT IN IT as far as liquid. I thought, this cannot be right. WELL, the top ingredients are for a dry mix that goes in a storage container that you just scoup out what you need and THEN add an egg and milk to!!! IT DIDN'T STATE THIS UP TOP!! If it would have stated additional ingredients for pancakes using 1 cup of the mix, I would have understood it at 5am!! Instead I got stuck with rummaging for things to use for liquid to try to salvage this mess of 5 batches for 1 person!!! I could not afford to waste 3 cups of flour and 2 eggs and the rest of my milk on this so I did add some water (yeah, wonderful) and applesauce to try to get it out of a paste form. Needless to say, they are horrible and I get to eat them!!! Even if I would have made these correctly, where is salt in this? Where is any flavor at all??

I make this ALL the time. However, I add 2 tsp salt and use half whole wheat flour. I also sometimes add flax seed. I just always keep this stored in my pantry and usually get about 8 to 10 pancakes with every one cup mix.
