This is a traditional Turkish dish that is mainly ate in the winter. I instantly fell in love with the warm savory flavors of this dish. Although I've used ravioli in this recipe, it is traditionally done with a similar pasta called Manti that you can buy from any online Turkish store.

Fat little Chinese stuffed dumplings, filled with a savory beef and shrimp filling, are browned in a skillet, then steamed until hot and tender. This recipe makes a lot of filling, good for having plenty of pot stickers to freeze and have any time.

Pierogi from Granny

Beef and pork-filled pierogi make a great traditional Polish meal. This is a recipe my Polish grandmother used to make. Although I don't like a lot of Polish food, this is a family favorite I love. It is a lot easier and faster if two people make it together.

Potato dumplings stuffed with a cube of ham are a specialty of the Trondelag region around Trondheim, Norway. Also enjoyed by many Norwegian-American families, the dumplings are boiled and traditionally served whole with melted butter, crispy bacon pieces, and stewed peas, or sliced and fried.

A traditional lasagna, with about half the time and effort! I always cook extra to have leftovers, but the more I cook, the more they eat! Serve with garlic toast and salad.

Traditional Waffles

Once I made these light and tasty waffles for my family, they never let me use a prepackaged mix again! For that reason, I usually bake a double batch and freeze the leftovers. Then, on hurried mornings, I just pop them in the toaster for a quick meal.
