These are good cookies, but you need to let them set out for awhile so they firm up. Nice presentation.

I've been making these cookies for years. While the decorating is time consuming, the end result is worth it. They're my family's favorite. The cookies are easy to roll out and always turn out perfectly. I cut the icing recipe in half and still have a little left over. The cookies keep well, but after a while the colors from the decoration start to bleed into the icing, so it's best not to decorate these too far ahead.

I have been making these cookies every Christmas since the recipe was first published in Taste of Home. They are beautiful and tasty and always get rave reviews, and they are a tradition I won't soon be giving up!

This cookies was, unfortunately, mostly a disappointment. The taste of the cookie itself was pleasant, but the texture was odd. This was most likely my fault, but the dough was always too sticky to get a good roll, and what I was able to salvage came out spongy, somehow. They were adorable decorated, but I would make them again. Three stars, though, for looks and a decent cinnamon cookie!

Just got finished making these. They take time but they are really good. For better taste while the glaze was still wet, I crushed a Sweet Stripes peppermint up and sprinkled over the glaze. can't wait to see what my family thinks of them tomorrow.

Very good. A little time consuming, but very festive looking. Would make again.

I've been making these cookies to put in Christmas gift baskets every year since I first saw the recipe in Taste of Home magazine. They're delicious and everyone always raves about them.
