This was a huge hit! I left out the bell peppers because I don't like them and added about a teaspoon of poultry seasoning. WONDERFUL chicken salad!

This is a great different chicken salad. I made a few changes just because of what I had on hand. I used toasted almond slivers and used 1/2 mayo, 1/2 Miracle Whip and I omited the green pepper because I don't like peppers. I'm eating my sandwich as I type this and it's delicious!

I made this for lunch today and it it very yummy! My only issue with this recipe is that it will not make it to the fridge to chill for 1 hour, so make a double batch!

I had some leftover grilled chicken and I was looking forward to trying this recipe with it. With all the great reviews I thought this would be wonderful but I was just not thrilled with it. I made the recipe as written minus the green peppers because I didn't have any. I tried it right after making and it was very bland to me. The next day the flavors did blend a bit better but to my tastes it was a little too sweet with the crasins and the chicken flavor was lost. I ended up putting some blackened seasoning on it just to be able to eat it. Sorry. I hate giving bad reviews but this just didn't float my boat.

Soak the cranberries in enough hot tap water to cover for about 15 minutes and then drain on paper a towel. This will keep them from drawing moisture from the mayonnaise and thus creates a moister salad. I also added a little garlic powder.

Amazing recipe! I substituted the cranberries for raisins, because I didn't have any on hand. I served this on the actual first "hot" day of spring. My husband is a construction worker so this tasted very good to him after a very warm day at work. Next time I'll make more so I can send leftovers in his lunch! BTW I would need to triple this recipe to feed my 4 boys and husband! Spectacular!!

Delicious! I made it the night before, used a grocery store rotisserie chicken & replaced the green pepper with green apples. Many of my guests commented on it, a couple asked if I made it myself & several asked for the recipe. Will definately make this again!

This is SOOO good. I made it for my boyfriend and I, and he ate it every day for lunch for a week, and then requested that I make it again. It is that good! I made a few changes just to suit my liking: used a rotisserie style chicken from the grocery store, omitted the green pepper, added 1 cup grapes, and added 1/2 tsp. onion power, and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder to the mayonnaise. I have been looking everywhere for a great chicken salad recipe, and this is the best!

This is great chicken salad. I served it on croissants. It is very colorful and looks nice on a platter. I suggest that you make it a day ahead and allow the flavors to blend. I used 1 cup of cranberries and 1/2 cup golden rasins. I left out the onions because I forgot to buy them. I seasoned the chicken with Cavender's Greek Seasoning and grilled it.

Very yummy. Used slightly less cranberries, double the green onion, a dash of both garlic powder and celery seed, and toasted the pecans. Yum!

This is a very tasty recipe. I followed most of it. We changed the green pepper to green apples about 2 cups diced(4 small apples) skipped paprika & changed to 1 huge sweet onion microwaving it for 5 minutes after I cut it up. Cooking it makes it sweeter and takes the acidity out of it. Lastly we use garlic pepper in our house on everything, and we used this instead of salt & pepper. This recipe was easy and goes together in minutes. It is a great salad for entertaining indoors and even better poolside. Thank you Jill

Made this for work today and everyone loved it. Next time I will probably only do about 1/2 tsp of the paprika. I will definitely make this again.

This is good. I used left over chicken from the "Rotesserie Sticky Chicken"[from this site]I used Hazelnuts because thats what I had in my pantry. I've let the salad sit for about an hour or so. We're munching on it with crackers. Tommorrow 'lunch'.I could see using this on Endive leaves or Boston lettuce. Yum.

Ok, so I catered a wedding for 100 people last weekend and made this chicken salad to put between croissants...it was spectacular. i had many, mnay compliments and requests for the recipe. it was my first time making this so I was a little nervous, but it was absolutely great. I did buy 5 rotisserie chickens from sam's club and used that for extra flavor...I would highly recommend!

If I eat more than a bite of chicken salad, I usually feel sick, but this one isn't too creamy or as heavy-feeling. It has such interesting flavors with the nuts and cranberries. If you're going to make chicken salad, this is the recipe to use.

I agree that this is not just a holiday chicken salad. I am not a big fan of cranberries so I added a figi apple and some red grapes and almonds instead. It is amazing. I make it for my husbands lunches and he LOVES it!
