I thought this was delicious. I used rotisserie chicken meat, and instead of dried cranberries, I halved red seedless grapes and used them and also added about a tsp. of curry powder. Other than that, I followed the recipe as written. This would be great to bring to a party or church function served with crackers. It also makes a yummy sandwich on whole grain bread. Thanks for the recipe. This one is definitely a keeper and will be made often.

Excellent (but I only give 5 stars when I don't make changes). I seasoned the chicken while cooking. I also used finely chopped walnuts instead of pecans, took out the green pepper, and served it on a bed of romaine leaves with a roll on the side.

Made it exactly as the recipes states, ate it for three days, and I still thought it was a little bland.

Someone brought this to a party yesterday and it was fabulous! Each of the flavors are subtle in their own way but combine to make for an amazingly delicious chicken salad! I was completely blown away by how good this was since I normally am not one for fruit of any sort in my chicken salad. The woman who made it strongly recommended letting the salad sit for 1-2 days after you make it for the flavors to mix. She served it on crackers as an appetizer, but it'd be great on sandwiches too, or in any use.

I followed the recipe except made a half batch. We loved the flavor and will make this again. I could personally cut back on the cranberries a bit but that's just me.

I thought this was good!! I substituted walnuts for the pecans as that was what I had on hand and used Miracle Whip instead of mayonnaise to lower the calories some.

I'm sorry but 3 stars is being generous. I thought it was blah & average & the paprika gave it that strange brownish color of canned tuna. If you make this at least leave out the paprika.

I absolutely love this recipe. I use the leftover chicken from when I make "Baked Slow Cooker Chicken" from this site and everybody loves it. If you even like chicken salad just a little bit, this recipe will make you love it.

This chicken salad is delicious! I taste tested a little bite on a cracker, and ended up going through half a roll of ritz crackers before finally putting the chicken salad in the fridge to chill. So much for letting the flavors meld together; it was already yummy. :o) I almost forgot to mention that I toasted the pecans under the broiler for a few minutes before putting them in the salad. Oh, and I just realized that I forgot to put in the green pepper...oh well.

Followed the recipe, except for omitting pecans and celery- Chrissy has issues with celery. It was a 4.5 from the tasters point of view.

This is one of the salads I made for the Historical Society Tea. It was the first to go. It's very light on the Mayo and the apples add just the right crunch. Great Recipe

I made this chicken salad with a few changes based on previous reviews and it was amazing! I used a garlic Rotissere chicken. Used only 6 oz. of crasins. I also sauteed both the celery and onions in butter first and added red grapes cut in half. I also roasted the pecans before in butter and salt. It was one of the best recipes I have had from this site.

Another 5 star review for this delishious chicken salad. I doubled the green onion, left out the bell pepper, added grapes, used 2/3 of the cranberries, used cashews instead. We made wraps with it..so very good and addictive!

Wonderful! There are a few things that are a MUST to make this turn out great...1)chill it overnight to give all the flavors time to combine. 2)don't overdo it on the mayo - the flavor comes from the seasonings and fruit etc. too much mayo drowns the true flavor of the salad. 3) not required, but a good tip is to buy a herb & garlic or lemon pepper rotisserie chicken instead of baking your own. The rotisserie chicken is so moist and bursting with flavor that it makes the salad that much more mouthwatering. I have also made this with diced apples, red grapes and cashews and still wonderful! Green onions are a nice addition and taste fabulous, too. It is truly a beautiful salad and works well for the holidays because of the gorgeous red and green colors. Thanks for the recipe!!

I really loved this recipe but I did change it a bit. I used 1/2cup mayo, 1/2cup miracle whip, 1/2tsp paprika, 1/2tsp season salt, I left out the onion & bell peppers because my kids don't care for them. Instead of dried cranberries I used dried cherries. Also I used cashews instead of pecans, only because I love cashews. I also added macaroni noodles to make it more of a pasta salad. I put it in the frig over night to let it all marinate together & it turned out great. My friends & family loved it. I will definitely make this again & again.
