AMAZING!!!!!!!! Absolutely a more than 5 star recipe! I was asked to make chicken salad for a baby shower and chose this one. I am so glad that I did. Everyone was raving about it and I had many requests for the recipe. The recipe is GREAT as it is, however with these additions it was OVER-THE-TOP! I toasted the pecans using the recipe from this site. YUM! I used half the crasins that the recipe called for and substituted the other half with red grapes. I also omitted the peppers. This salad is definitely the BEST! Look not farther! Try it, you won't be sorry.

Loved the taste of this salad . I did change abit....added apple and grapes and a little bit of curry , squeeze of lemon juice. I had it on a bed of baby lettuce for lunch and it was great . I'm sure it will be even better tomorrow

The best chicken salad I have ever eaten! I followed the recipe exactly and made it for wraps for my stepmother's wedding shower and it was a HUGE hit! I ate it for lunch for a week after the shower and it kept really well!

This was fantastic! It was very easy -- I used canned cubed chicken and just threw the rest together in no time. We took it camping with us and ate it both plain and on bagels. Delicious!

This is a great recipe. I took others advice and used half of the amount of cranberries that it called for and it was still a bit too sweet. I will use a fourth of what it calls for next time.

I was cooking for guests and wanted a good chicken salad recipe. Well, let me tell you, if that is what you are looking for this is it! This is the first rating I have ever given on this website and this chicken salad is so good I just had to speak up. Wonderful! You CANNOT go wrong with this recipe. I know I will be making this over and over again. I changed nothing, went directly by the recipe. Look no further if you are searching for the best chicken salad, this is it!

I made this recipe for my Bunco group and wrapped it in lettuce. What a hit for those on diets. I used low fat mayo and cut down on the craisins. Have made this again and just received a request for the recipe!

Great for everything. I added grapes and used less green pepper, served it in wheat pita bread. Delicious! Lots of compliments.

Great, and not just for holidays. I was short on time so I used a deli chicken. Took it to a gathering this evening and it was very well received. I served it with mini Pitettes, white and wheat. Thanks!

This recipe is good but I keep wanting it sweeter. To get my sweet fix I had 1/2 braeburn/jazz apple (minced) and some green grapes. I keep the onions and green bell peppers in and it is a great combination of flavors and crunch.

SOOO GOOD! I am not even a huge fan of chicken salad but I made this for a baby shower gathering and it was a big hit. I did a test run and found that it tasted the best after the third day. Love all the flavors mingled together. I did add more mayo to the mix just to make it a little more "saucy" but the salad looked beautiful on croissants and tasted just as good as it looked! Thanks for sharing!

Yum! I followed the recipe aside from substituting cashews for the nuts and using low fat mayo. I cut the recipe down to 4 servings and used one large chicken breast, boiled in a mixture of water, a chicken bullion cube, and a few shakes of garlic powder and montreal chicken seasoning, then cooled and chopped. I agree with the other person who said that the word "Holiday" should be removed from the name- this is great for any time of the year!

So delicious and refined-tasting! As so many others recommended, I omitted the green pepper and added grapes and green apples. I let it chill overnight before serving it on sweet onion rolls. Definitely a keeper!

I make this all the time and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get rave reviews from everyone!! I use less cranberries than called for, omit the green peppers and toast my pecans. That being said, holy moly this is the most fabulous chicken salad recipe EVER!!!!!!!!! I usually let it meld overnight. It really doesn't get any better than this.

This was so good! I made it today for a lunch get together. This is the best chicken salad I've made. I stuck to the recipe pretty closely. Just a couple changes. Left out the bell pepper. Instead of green onion I added finely chopped white onion and then I also added chopped red grapes. I let this chill overnight as others have recommended. I think that really helped the flavors blend together. Great recipe!
