I loved the puffs-- I was amazed at how easy they were to make! I did get nervous though after the addition of the eggs because it got runny, but the turned out great! The crab filling was nice and light, but it lacked the "umph" factor. I think it needs something more for a little kick, but otherwise, they were a great hit and had nice reviews from guests. I have used the filling recipe for years, but use Hungry Jack "flaky" buscuits for the "puffs". Usually 2 packages of buscuits will do since you pull the layers of the buscuit apart & can usually get 2 or 3 "puffs" per buscuit. Put the layers of the buscuit in tassy pans & bake at 350 for 15 min. or cover the pan & throw in the freezer for future use!

the little balls turned out perfectly and the filling was really good. the flavour is none too aggressive. I think they are quite original and give your appetizer tray a refined look.
