Excellent. I didn't have the poppy seeds, but didn't miss them either. Subtle but noticeable flavor of the onion and dill. I don't care for a lot of sugar in bread so I only used 2 teaspoons, along with 2 tablespoons of fresh dill. Nice, crackly crust and I also appreciated the "non-fluffy," non-WonderBread texture of the bread, which may have simply been because I significantly reduced the amount of sugar. I don't usually use dried onions, but this bread is a good reason to make sure I have them around!

Great bread. The favor gets even better with time, if you can resist eating it all when it's fresh. Try to let it set overnight. Or just do like I do and make 2 loaves! Fabulous toast!

Very easy to make, my 18 month old and I had it together very quickly. The house smelled amazing! I added a little additional flour during the kneading process, but perfect as written.

This bread is the best bread that I have ever made. I didn't change a thing. (The 17 Tblsp. water is really 1 cup plus 1 Tblsp.) Rave reviews from my family!

This is so delicious! Yum! I love herbed bread, but I also prefer ww breads, so I replaced a 1/2 cup of the white flour with ww flour. Next time I might increase that to a cup and add some wheat gluten. I was a bit daunted by the idea of 17 tbs of water, so I looked it up; 16 tablespoons is a cup, so I just put a cup of water + 1 tbs to address that issue. This bread is flavorful; I love all the herbs and I love the poppy seeds. I used the dough setting on my bread maker then let the dough rise again in a bread pan for about 15-20 minutes and baked at 375 for 40 minutes. Bakes up nice and golden brown that way. Thanks for the recipe! I'll have to make this one again! :o)

This bread was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. It reminded me of my best friends growing up and their dad would make this for Christmas every year for all of us neighbors.

The first recipe I made with my new bread machine. I have only used one other recipe and keep coming back to this one! Excellent!

This was one of the most delicious breads I have ever made. The smell that spreads throughout the house is a magnet to the bread machine. We watch in anxious anticipation for the buzzer to ring so we can eat it warm, fresh out of the machine! I add a little more onion and increase to 19 tablespoons of water. Absolutly delicious!
