THANK YOU for such a perfect side dish recipe!!! I could not believe how EASY this was to make, and yet it looks lovely, has WONDERFUL flavor, and can go with just about any meal... Several people asked me about the recipe - no one would have guessed they were microwaved! The texture was PERFECT. Thanks for the keeper!

We liked these. I did steam them instead of cook them in the microwave until just tender, then tossed them with the melted butter and spices. Super simple and went well with Sus' CAt Scratch Attack Casserole. Very nice.

I love the simplicity of this recipe, although I have to admit that I did not use the microwave. I used my waterless pot to steam these beans with a little salt, Herbes de Provence, and a pat of butter. Quick, easy, and delicious!

These didn't have much flavor at all. I couldn't really tell any herbs were there. My husband who is super picky about his veggies (he likes everything plain) didn't say a word and he had a large portion. So that confirms they are fairly bland and taste pretty much like plain green beans. I just wasn't impressed. They weren't bad, they just weren't ...

Excellent! I gave it 4 stars because I made some changes. I used olive oil instead of butter and added 2 cloves of crushed garlic. Super easy, very yummy!

Excellent! A nice change from our normal green beans. I pan fried and covered for the last several minutes. Will certainly use this recipe again but with a little less butter.

This was so easy and really good! I didn't have the savory so I thought I'd add minced garlic and it turned out perfect! I will make this again and again! Thanks!

Great base for me to start with. I threw them in a skillet though so I could stir them up during cooking. I didnt have the other spices so I used onion powder, garlic powder, and Bacon Salt. DEEELISH!!

i love the fact that i could make these and not have to watch them since the microwave stops automatically. i used dill and lemon pepper for my spices. i also didnt bother to melt the butter ahead of time and toss w/ the herbs. i just put everything in my dish and nuked for 3 mins then mixed everything and nuked another 4 mins right when the main dish was almost done. so easy, i never cooked beans in the microwave before, thanks for the post!*update* just made these again when it was too hot to cook in my kitchen. this will be my summer go to vegetable recipe.

This is a good 'base' recipe to have. I used fresh green beans and upped the spices to about double to better suit my taste. I also cooked them in a pan instead of using the microwave.

I love to make green beans using this recipe as a guide, adapting the herbs and seasonings to match the meat I am serving.
