Herb Cheese Butter

This is a good herb butter, and will last about 4 days in the refrigerator. You don't have to add the cheese if you don't want to.

This is wonderful! Try as much or as little of the fresh herbs to suit your tastes. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and some warm bread, if desired.

This tangy flavored butter offers a nice change from plain butter and gives a refreshing new taste to an ear of corn. When I serve this on the side during fresh corn season, the same question always gets asked--'What's is the butter that makes it so delicious?'

I make this tasty butter during the growing season and freeze it for later use. This allows my family and me to enjoy the flavor of fresh basil all year long. I use it to enhance cooked vegetables, chicken and fish. No one seems to miss the salt that I deliberately leave out.

I came up with this rich, nutty spread as a way to jazz up toast. But my big family also looks for it on my holiday brunch buffet. It's a festive topper for muffins, biscuits, rolls and even slices of pound cake.
