It was just a good everyday type dinner. Only things I did different was used about a 1/2 lb less meat and only used pork sausage. I also used only about 2 cups of cabbage. This meal is affordable too.

We thought this was wonderful. I added some minced garlic and onion to the meatballs and subbed little shell macaroni for the rice. Also added some red pepper flake and Italian herbs to the broth. Cut back on cabbage after reading the one review. My hubs really enjoyed this as did I.

The meatballs were good but too many for the soup. It was too strong on the tomato and also too much cabbage. The flavors together were a little strange. Maybe with less tomato juice, no cabbage, replace rice with noodles etc. Others may like the flavor but it was just odd for my family and I. I won't make this again.
