I cut the recipe down so that I didn't have two casseroles. I seasoned the hamburger with pepper, basil, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt along with the onions. I omitted the bell peppers and tomatoes. And, because I didn't have onion rings, I topped the casserole with tater tots. Family ate it up!

It was ok.....I didnt freeze the other half, I just made the whole batch. The kids wouldnt touch it, but I didnt mind it, but nothing fantastic...
