This was a good rough draft. I made it my own by adding cheese in the cream mixture, along with season all, and garlic sauce. I also didnt use as much butter was called for. All in all it came out very good.

Really yummy, but mine was more like a soup than a casserole.

I really wanted to like this recipe because I LOVE casseroles of all kinds but this one just didn't make the grade. I would recommend mixing the cheese in with the sauce and be careful not to over cook the potatoes because they turn to mush when you try to mix in the other ingredients. Also, I used Russet potatoes and the texture was totally wrong. Maybe the creamier red potatoes would have been a better choice.

This recipe was an excellent starting point for a great dish! Everyone in my house loved it! I made a few minor changes to fit our tastes. I used shredded cheddar cheese in place of the processed cheese food for the cheese topping and added some in the sauce as well (~1/4 cup, didn't really measure). I also added paprika and garlic pepper to the sauce. One roommate is vegetarian, so I altered the recipe for him by cutting the recipe in half, omitted the ham, and added ~1 cup frozen mixed veggies and ~1 cup frozen green beans. For the meaty version, I added ~2 1/3 cups of ham and ~2 1/3 cups of cubed potatoes, and used 2 cups frozen mixed veggies instead of corn. I made the same cheese variation as mentioned above. Overall, a great recipe. Perfect place to start to prepare a dish that fits your house's tastes!

Was too "pasty" for my taste, and if I were to ever make it again, it could definitely use an extra cup of ham.

This was pretty good, nothing spectacular. I added garlic powder, paprika, garlic and still not flavorful enough. This recipe will not become part of my repertoire.

The sauce was a little bland. Next time I might add something to it but other then using cheddar instead of processed cheese I did everything like it said.

Good simple recipe for leftover ham. I wanted a one-dish meal, so I have added either peas or green beans along with the corn. Or just use 2 c. of frozen mixed diced vegetables (cooked) in place of the corn for a really easy version. I prefer more flavor, so I use one medium onion, chopped, and sharp cheddar rather than American cheese. Simple and tasty, and well-liked by all my family, from grandparents down to 2-year-old nephew.

I mixed the cheese in with the sauce, to make more of a mac 'n cheese style sauce. It was great both the first, and second times around!

Not sure if I did something wrong or if it is just a personal preference - but what was the milk sauce mixture all about? There was so much of it and although it was creamy, it wasn't particularly tasty. I think it might have been better if the cheese was melted in with it rather than or in addition to being poured on top.

This was very good, and easy! I was out of potatoes, so I used frozen hash browns. I think the texture of the cubed potatoes would have been a little better, but this still tasted delicious! Thanks!!

Really great way to use leftover ham. I used mexican cheese and more onion and pepper as someone else suggested. Will definitely make again.

Very good! Perfect for a ham leftovers meal. I just added garlic salt and onion salt and extra pepper. Once I added the milk to the onion mixture, I only cooked it on high for about 45 seconds and it was thichened. I will definately make this again as it is very easy and tasty too!

I used half the listed amount of corn, added small can of (drained) mushrooms as well as 2 thinly sliced carrots. I loved this, and it made great leftovers as well. Can't wait to make again sometime
