Needed a little something, but really good. Crackers or chips on top maybe

A good comfort food; I made a double batch to freeze for a busy night!

Delicious, the whole family loved it. Added a can of green beans and used havarti in the sauce instead of cheese on top.

We all had the same initial reaction, "Phew! It tastes better than it looks!" I doubled the potatoes and corn (used frozen) but not the ham, to stretch the meat to more servings. I liked that ratio quite well. I didn't realize I was totally out of cheddar cheese until I was already cooking so I used a block of cream cheese. It was pretty yummy! I added some Mrs Dash to make up for the lost salt of the missing cheddar and reduced amount of ham. Nice way to use up some leftover ham!

This is delicious. The only change I made was that I doubled the amount of potatoes. I've made it twice and my family loves it. Good comfort food.

We really like this recipe. We have had it twice now. the first time I didn't have real potato's so we just used instant mashed (SOOO GOOD) then the second time we added frozen peas and carrots. What a great recipe!

This was good but not great. The flavor was good but it was a bit too soupy for me. Could be a good starter recipe.

This is definitely a hearty casserole. Unfortunately, my husband wasn't too excited about it. I cooked the potatoes with minced garlic and added a third cup of the cheese to the sauce. I also used three cups of ham and slightly more potatoes than the recipe called for. I likely won't be making this again though.

This was fantastic, the whole family loved it. I did use some reviews, and added 1/2 of a med. onion instead of 1 Tbs. and I also added 3 slices of real american cheese to the sauce. This made a really nice creamy sauce. Try it you'll love it.

I tripled this recipe and made it for the main dish of our campout pot luck dinner. Everyone loved it. I've made it for DH who will eat more than his fair share. A huge hit no matter where it is served!
