Great - the amount of sauce was perfect!! I agree with the other reviewer - I might use a smoked cheese on top next time!!! Thanks!

We really enjoyed this tasty and filling dish! Great way to use leftover ham. I added some french fried onions instead of regular onion, used dried parsley and shredded cheddar jack cheese. Definately a repeat recipe, so thanks!

This was very good and easy to make. I browned the onions and potatoes in a frying pan with garlic salt and pepper, then I used whole wheat flour and added salt to it. I also sprinkled the top of the casserole with french onions and cheese. TASTY!

This is an awesome recipe. The only addition that I made is that I added bell pepper with the onion. I also took another reviewers advice and added some of the cheese to the mixture before baking. I made this recipe last week, and I already have the ingredients to make it again VERY soon. Thank you so much for the delicious recipe. It was a nice change.

Loved this recipe. So yummy and comforting! I was about to say that my potatoes didn't all get soft in the allotted cooking time, but I looked at the recipe again and noticed it called for cooked potatoes- mine went into the casserole dish uncooked and so some were still quite firm after 35 min. of baking! My mistake so I won't fault this recipe. Next time I'll know to bake longer if my potatoes are uncooked (because throwing it all together without adding the step of cooking the potatoes first is more appealing).

Easy recipe that even my husband could do! :) I like garlic on just about anything, so I added sauteed garlic to the sauce. We used peas & carrots instead of the corn. The kids LOVED it! Will definitely keep on my staples list.

Indeed a hearty casserole and an easy to put one together also! Only changes I made were subbing dried parsley and using a cheddar cheese topping. We enjoyed it! And ~ Diane, this is HAM! It doesn't need salt. And, if you think it really needs it, don't you have a salt shaker!? It didn't deserve a 3 star from you.

This tastes really good but there is WAY too much sauce. I think next time, I'm using more veggies and ham, and less sauce. I also used peas instead of corn. Very tasty. Just needs a little tweaking.

I made this recipe to specification, except used dried parsley ( a few shakes). Everyone in my fam LOVED it, including the picky 2 year old. What's not to like?? It's like a shepherds pie, only w/ ham. We will have this in our regiular rotation. Sidenote: i didn't use a bowl for the first 4 ingredients, I just loaded them into the casserole dish...one less to wash!

This was good. I doubled the recipe and put in a 9 X 13 pan. I did not double the corn....the one can was MORE than enough for our taste. I stirred 1/2 of the cheese into the white sauce, and sprinkled the other half over the last 10-15 minutes of baking. Thanks for the recipe : )

We loved this recipe. We used red potatoes and left the skin on, and added green peppers to to liven the dish up. My children loved this dish. I did double it and gave one to my sister, whose very picky husband gobbled it up.

Made this yesterday but couldn't eat it till today. Just as I'd put in the oven, our power went off. It didn't come back on in time for me to bake it properly. Then tonight my oven didn't want to work so I microwaved it instead. This is really delicious, a definite keeper. The only change I made was to add a dash of dry mustard...oh and I microwaved the potatoes instead of boiling them. I used leftover honey spiral-sliced ham that I had in the freezer. This is easy to make and results are fantastic!
