Not quite a moist as I would have liked but pretty good. Next time, I will probably make them thicker than the recipe suggests to see if they are less dry.

The dough was too sticky to roll, just plonked the dough into the cookie cutter and spread it. Was fun even for the kids!!

This was my first attempt at trying biscuits from scratch! The flavor of these is great, and they're soft....I only wish they had risen more. Mine hardly rose at all!!! Still a great recipe, though!! We ate ours with sausage gravy and homemade apple butter!

This is a fantastic basic biscuit recipe and pretty much the way I have been making them for many years. No need to get any more complicated than this when you are looking for a true biscuit recipe. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful! I had tried several different biscuit recipes but this one takes the cake! (no pun intended ;-) ) The spreads remind me of what my grandmother used to do. The possibilities with those spreads are endless. We make garlic spread also for those who don't want a sweet breakfast. Wonderful!

These were so simple to put together and were very light and fluffy. I didn't monkey with the ingredients but I doubled the recipe and used my cuisinart - pulsed the dry ingredients together and then added butter 1 T. at a time, then added milk. Also, after kneading, I just patted it into a rectangle and cut it into squares. This is certainly a keeper.

I've made many different biscuits recipes and this is one of the best I have ever tried. It reminds us of a restaurant style biscuit.

I just needed a basic biscuit recipe. So I used the recipe for the biscuit part only, but doubled it because it is snowing outside and all the stores are out of bread. The biscuits tasted great!! Thanks for sharing:)
