These are pretty good. Even using pancake syrup (not the real stuff) and sliced almonds (I'll try slivered or chopped next time) because that is what I had, these turned out mildly sweet, with a decent texture and good with the maple butter. I'm sure with actual maple syrup these would be even better, but even so, not a bad way to used up my pancake syrup.

These where nice muffins they did lack in maple taste, and making the maple butter was a mess and seemed a bit of a hassle but the muffins where eaten and i would make them again at some point in the future, thanks so much for the lovely muffins
