Rich, thick, creamy. Made it exactly by the recipe. Wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for sharing.

Really great chocolate flavor. My pudding didn't thicken up as much as I thought it should even though I followed the recipe exactly. Next time I'll try another Tbs of corn starch. I'm going to try omitting the chocolate and have vanilla pudding. This was easy enough for my boys to help out too!

As my daughter (jokenaround2) stated it was a great pudding. I used 1/3c sugar, a tablespoon of instant expresso (with the cocoa) and fat-free half and half. Added the salt to the dry ingredients and sifted it all together before I added the liquids, no lumps. I had some after it cooled and my husband ate the rest. WONDERFUL

This was okay but i have to admit that i prefer the cooked boxed kind. I think it may have too much cocoa powder for my taste. Hubby liked it more than me though.

This was exceptional! I found it last night & emailed to my mom...she made with sugar & fat free half & half. I also made w/the fat free half & half but used 1/3 cup Splenda. We both LOVED our versions. Next time I'll do half sugar & half splenda. The fat free half & half was PERFECT. My 11 year old & I did it together. I'm so glad I found this, low fat & low/no sugar. It is almost impossible to mess up if you truely follow the directions & use good ingredients. Thank you for posting.

I really enjoyed this recipe! I thought it was too good to be true due to its simplicity, but it really is that easy to make a great homemade pudding. I used skim milk and Splenda and it still turned out wonderfully. My suggestion to others would be to wisk very thoroughly to avoid lumps, and keep an eye on it when microwaving- mine took an additional three minutes. Also, the pudding develops that "skin" rather quickly so cover immediately if not eating warm. Thanks a bunch for the recipe :D

Okay,I give this recipe a 3 because I have made this pudding twice, last night,I followed the steps exactly like written and all I got was a runny thin mess. This morning I only put in one cup of milk and it's better, I think it calls for too much vanilla but to each his own. I don't think I'll be making this again.

This recipe is a fun science experiment!. It's neat to see the concoction suddenly become thick in the microwave. I added about a teaspoon of butter with the vanilla and liked that variation. The only thing is, even though this truly is "hasty," it is just not faster or that different than instant pudding! My five year old liked sugar free instant better. So although it was good and fun to try, I will probably not make it again.

After a long, difficult week at work, I saw this recipe and decided some comfort food was in order. That it was a quick and easy recipe was even better. To my surprise, this is also really good. I'm eating it warm as I write this. I used Dutch-process cocoa (premium high-fat stuff), slightly less than 3 Tbs cornstarch, and whisked in a pat of butter once it was finished cooking. I will definitely keep this recipe! Don't skip the vanilla--it really rounds out the flavor of the chocolate.

Absolutely wonderful. I don't recall eating better chocolate pudding anywhere. I ate three bowls of it right after it was cold. I'm looking forward to making this for our next family dinner. Thanks for posting it.

I thought this was really good. You must really like chocolate. My husband and 4 year did not like it, too much chocolate-what are they thinking?? Which works well for me! The more for me!

AWESOME, and super easy. Not too sweet, not too heavy, PLENTY CHOCOLATY, and EASY!!! I did add 1 tbsp of butter at the end and did not wait for it to cool. I served it with warm popovers as a filling. I will definetly make this again...

I love this recipe! I just found it today and have already made two batches. The first batch that I made was the chocolate, and I cooked it for one minute less than I should have, so it was a little runny. The flavor was excellent, so I was very impressed. The second time I was determined to get it right but decided to make a banana flavor. I omitted the cocoa powder and the vanilla and instead used 3 teaspoons of banana extract. Delicious! I have already added this to my recipe book, and it's so versitile that any flavor can be used. I love it!

Simply delicious and so easy to make! I added a tablespoon of butter at the end like others have suggested. I couldn't believe how fast it all came together. It literally took less than 10 minutes to measure the ingredients and heat and stir (my batch required 5 minutes total microwave time).

My pudding turned out stringy and jello-y. It was super clumpy and the cornstarch made it taste really wierd. It might have been my fault but I don't think that I'll make it again. I think that 3 minutes of microwaving is too much at one time. d

So easy to make. Definitely needs 1/4 tsp salt added with dry ingredients and 1 Tbsp butter added at the end with the vanilla, made a HUGE difference in flavor. With those additions I would give it a 5 star.
