I have made this recipe many times. It is wonderful! It just can't be compared with a box pudding. Try eating it warm...a great treat on a chilly evening.

This is great pudding. Our air went out and I was searching for something I could make into a popsicle. These were perfect. So yummy and amazing frozen. Thanks!!

This is so much better than instant pudding. SO easy! I made no changes to the recipe and it turned out perfect.

I'm giving this 5 stars because my husband, who is not a big dessert person, asks me to make this at least a couple of times a week. Adding a Tbsp of butter at the end makes a big difference in taste. Super easy!!!

Due to lactose intolerance, made with vanilla soy milk and only used 1 tsp of vanilla. Was very good! Thanks for the recipe!

This is awesome! When it was cooking in the microwave I was scared that it wouldn't come together smoothly but I just stirred it together and it became smooth and wonderful! I did add salt and butter as suggested and it made a huge difference! I also added coconut extract to make it taste like an almond joy! I love the strong chocolate flavor but it can be overwhelming so I mixed together Fage 2% greek yogurt with vanilla and splenda and a little Cinnamon and layered the pudding and the yogurt. It was a great balance of flavors! :)

I couldn't stop myself from eating it warm! This tastes exactly like the homemade chocolate pudding my Mamaw Margie would make on the stovetop when we were growing up. Happy memories ... Thanks for sharing!

Unfortunately, I mismeasured my vanilla. Other than that, I think this is pretty good, but my husband thinks it is too bitter (perhaps because of my vanilla goof...)

I make this pudding quite often as it really hits the spot when i need a yummy chocolate fix! i prefer to eat mine warm - it makes it more of a "comfort food" and seems to intensify the flavor!

I would like to give 4 1/2 stars...definitely 5 stars for ease, and four stars for taste. It tastes really good (my daughter and I just shared a bowl and it isn't even cool yet), but I will probably add a little more cocoa powder next time to boost the chocolate factor. Will definitely make again, thank you for the recipe!

I would give 5 stars, but........ The chocolate taste was not intense enough for me, had to add about 1/4 more of cocoa powder to suit my taste...... added real whipped cream inbetween layers, very good, then it tasted like chocolate mousse :0) yum

Really, really good ... I love chocolate, and this is delicious and easy. I have a small microwave (in a tiny 1920s kitchen), so I had to cook and stir a bit longer at the end to get it to thicken, but once it did, oh man. Followed the recipe exactly, vanilla and all. I tried some warm and chilled the rest as a chocolate pie filling. Yum.

It was yummy, but a little rich! Next time I might add a little less cocoa. But it turned out to be a great dessert on a night when I didn't have much time.

I've made this recipe three times in less than a week! A fabulous warm, chocolatey dessert. WOW. I normally add a Tblsp. of margarine with the vanilla, but honestly, I forgot the vanilla this last time and didn't really notice it too much. Soooo great! Thanks for a FANTABULOUS recipe!

We really enjoyed this. I used skim milk and layered it in individual glasses with fat free cool whip. It was a nice treat to have and not feel terribly guilty afterward for eating it!
