This was an easy and good recipe. When I seared the chops I also browned the onions w/them. Then while they were searing I threw in some worschershire sauce, garlic, and dried parsley. It gave the pork chops a wonderful flavor. I will definitely try again since my husband and 2-year-old son enjoyed.

"This is the second time I tried this recipe, although the first time was great, I decided to spice it up a bit. I used seasoned salt on both sides of chops, with pepper and marinated them with worcesterhire sauce. I used cream of chicken and sauted the onions. I also used boneless sirloin chops instead. Great!!"

OK, the bad reviews of this recipe are a little harsh. We all need to tinker with a lot of these recipes to make them work for us. I would use potatoes o'brian next time. I used red onion and browned it first. Also, I seasoned the pork chops quite a bit with pepper, garlic, etc. before I browned them in some of the remaining browned onion and olive oil. Delicious.

This was horribly bland. The only flavor it really had was a slight onion flavor, so kids definitely won't like it.

This dish was so easy and the kids (all of the kids!) loved it. This one goes in my "twice a month" category!

This recipe is a good for people who prefer their meals bland. I added a can of mushroom soup to the leftovers the next day and that worked out well.

This was a tasty meal. I would cut down on the onions or saute them before mixing into the potato mixture.

Like some of the others, I strayed off the recipe a tiny bit. Used center loin chops marinated in teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes & substituted cream of mushroom soup for the celery soup & also sauteed the onion. Turned out very good but might go ahead & use the celery soup next time. The pork chops were absolutely delicious by the way!

This recipe is a good one for when time is short.. My 10mth old daughter enjoyed the potato's for lunch the next day--they smash really well, and are tasty!

I would recommend using schredded cheese instead of cubed. Also, I will doctor-up the pork chops before baking--they were too bland for us.

Easy and Delicious. I used sweet onion and I found that I didn't need to sautee them. I browned the chops in olive oil with fresh Thyme and Parsley and it gave the chops a wonderful flavor. I recommend a sweet onion (Vadalia) over yellow. My family loved it! I'm not a pork fan but I do like this!

Very good, I will definitely make this again. I used tater tots instead of hash browns, they ended up looking like hash browns anyway at the end. I also sauteed the onions before adding to the recipe. Very rich and filling.

A bit bland. The onions overpower the hash browns. I'll saute the onions before I add them next time I make this meal.
