I made this for my co-workers and everyone raved, so then I made this for my family and everyone was happy again. I used turkey sausage instead and skipped the diced onion. I will continue to make this yummy dish. I loved it too!

I made this exactly as the recipe describes, and it just did not taste good to me. My husband, who isn't picky at all, didn't even eat the left overs and I ended up tossing them which is a rare occasion in our house.

I was shocked when 4 adults and 2 toddlers managed to eat the entire casserole this morning for brunch! Everyone loved it and it was filling without being a foodbomb that sends everyone into a foodcoma. Thanks for the great recipe!

Great recipe! We add in extra vegetables (green pepper, mushrooms, whatever we have around!) but otherwise make it exactly as the recipe states. Delicious hot out of the over or reheated the next day.

With only the slight derivation of using cooked chopped bacon along with the sausage, I followed this recipe with so-so results. The potato layer was indeed bland, as another reviewer mentioned, and the eggs seemed to disappear into the potatoes. I may tweak this with a little seasoning and more eggs.

Holy cow, this is amazing! I make a similar casserole all the time, but this one tasted much better and has become our new family favorite! I did use half and half, but otherwise followed the recipe. YUM!

Turned out good! I made this recipe this morning for my neighbors when they all came over. I couldn't make it with onions because they don't like them but next time I will def add them and probably some green peppers (or just buy the hash browns that already have them in it). I heated up some tortillas and we made breakfast burritos out of it! Will make again.

Too sausagy and eggy. Next time I'll make potato au-gratin stile, and use chicken (bbq will probably be better) and less or no eggs at all.
