Ingredients

  • 3 large yams, quartered length-wise
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Lay yams skin side down in a 9x12 inch baking dish. Pour maple syrup over the yams and sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Dot with butter and cover with aluminum foil.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
