This was delicious! Pimientos kinda freak me out, so I used bacon. I fried some turkey bacon and made gravy from the left over grease. I only used half of the condensed soup and put in the gravy and crumpled up turkey bacon. I also used Total cereal, since that was all I had. :) It was great!

I suggest instead of listing multiple ingredients (I made serving for 20) by lbs. instead of cups (ex. 5 lbs. potatoes instead of 13 3/4 potatoes) I microwaved the potatoes instead of boiling them. Put them in the refrigerator instead of freezer. I also rounded up amount of soup and sour cream. Blended ingredients instead of layering. Recipe is labor intensive, but well worth it.

Very good recipe. It was a tasty side dish. I used leftover baked potatoes and cream of mushroom soup because I didn't have cream of chicken. I've tried similar recipes but they were always either too dry or too creamy. This one was just right. Thanks for the great recipe.

We skipped the cool-down and gring phases and served this as chopped potatos. Tasted fine. Could also add dill.

I only gave 4 stars because I haven't use the recipe yet. It sounds wonderful. This would be great for the CHRISTmas Holiday's by adding chopped pimentos and parsley for the seasonal colors. PJB

This is it!!! I have been looking for a very long time for this recipe. I've tried others and they were never quite what I was looking for. I made two small changes, I diced the potatoes and left out the pimientos. This recipes is going into the family file. Thanks!!!
