  1. In medium bowl, whisk together squash, eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla and nutmeg until thoroughly combined. In lightly greased 7x11-inch baking dish, place bread pieces in single layer. Pour egg mixture over top. Let stand at least 30 minutes. Bake in preheated 350 degrees F oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cut Into 8 squares. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream on top.

DELICIOUS! I served it for a brunch, and guests raved! I added more cinnamon, but that's the only adjustment I made. It's definitely a "keeper"!
