This was definitely happy shrimp! Happy mouth anyway! I was making it for 5 of us and was glad that I saw others say it didn't make all that much! I doubled it, plus used a whole pint of whipping cream instead of the 2/3 it would have been doubled. There was just enough with one serving left, which I am sure someone will snag for lunch tomorrow! I did not put the basil, tomatoes or green onion in until the cream had thickened. I didn't think those ingredients should cook so long. I put them in right at the end. I added a 1/3 cup parmesan cream and a little pinch of red pepper flakes also. I served it over angel hair pasta. Was amazing!!

Sooo good! I've made this a couple of times, each time with the "Seafood Blend" from Trader Joe's- frozen scallops, calamari, and shrimp. Its soo yummy! The different seafood flavors add so much to the dish and you can just throw them in the pan frozen and let them cook. I add chopped baby portabellas and skip the salt/pepper/cayenne pepper and just add some creole seasoning and a splash of tobasco to spice it up. Absolutely delicious and super quick. A huge hit with the husband.

Yummy! I followed the directions here (all except adding tomatoes), and this was delicious! We served it over thin wheat spaghetti. Next time, I'll double the sauce and serve it over angel hair. My husband and I loved it!

This recipe is amazing! Marinated the shrimp for an hour or so in some olive oil and cajun spices. We used the full amount of shrimp, but doubled the sauce ingredients. We also added more cream than called for and just let it reduce until we were happy with it. Added some grated parmesan cheese to the sauce for extra flavour. My husband and I were very happy with this recipe, it's definately going to make it's way to our table again! So tasty!

This recipe was quick, easy and tasty! I added some mushrooms because I love them (used about 250 g for 3 servings), and I doubled the tomato. I served the recipe over angel hair pasta. It looked and tasted like it came from a restaurant! This recipe made me and my husband very happy, thanks "proudwife"! :)

I didn't have shrimp, so I followed one reviewer's suggestion and used boneless/skinless chicken breasts. It was wonderful. My husband said he wants it on our regular rotation.

I took the suggestions of others and used olive oil instead of butter, 2/3 C fat free half & half instead of 1/3 C heavy cream. Served over whole wheat angel hair pasta. Delicious! Thanks for sharing!!!

This recipe is easy and delicious! I added a tablespoon of tomato paste for a stronger tomato flavour and a little bit of cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Served over spaghettini. Will definitely make again. Yummy!!!

I doubled the sauce but not the tomato. I loved the hint of wine I tasted with each bite. When I make it again I plan to add more cayenne pepper, and a 1/2 cup of parm to the sauce. It was great!!

This recipe was very good. I didn't use the hot sauce as my family doesn't like spicy food. I added Parmesan cheese for extra flavor. It tasted even better the next day.

Loved it! Very easy too for a quick dinner. I did double the sauce, used 1/2 & 1/2 instead of cream and tossed in 1/4 c grated Parmesean cheese at the end. Added 3/4 box of cooked angel hair pasta for last 5 mintutes of cooking time, great meal!

This recipe is pretty tasty. I served it over pasta like some other reviewers suggested. As written, it's a main dish meat serving and doesn't make enough sauce to serve over pasta. Also - while it is tasty, it's not tasty enough to justify the fat. I will make it again, but use less butter, try fat free half and half, and not serve it on pasta.

Sorry, didn't think this was anything special. Made about 3 servings. Maybe less basil and more garlic? I'm not sure what it needed.
