Of the 5 people in my family 4 of us really liked meat pies! To convert the last one I made an "italian" meat pie. I added pepperoni, rosemary, thyme, oregano, pizza sauce and mozz. cheese. We will have these again.

Great for a make-ahead meal for my husband's lunch box; a wonderful alternative to sandwiches (although they need reheating in the microwave). Next time I'll make a mexican version by omitting the pork and using ground beef only. Then I'll omit the fresh parsley and use fresh cilantro and a 2/3 cup of shredded cheese.
