Hamburger Spanish Rice

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup uncooked instant rice
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a skillet, brown beef, onion, green pepper and rice. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until the rice is tender.
