This was good but a tad bland. I followed the recipe exactly, but will spice it up next time. Easy to put together and made enough for two meals for my husband and myself.

Make sure the soup mixture covers the potatoes and you're in business. My husband thought it was a bit bland, but he managed to spice it up on his own. The best part is that my toddler ate this. I finally found a recipe that he'll eat. Thank you!

This is pretty good comfort food. I didn't brown the meat, just made patties with very lean ground beef and used spicy seasoned salt. Also added extra onion and green pepper strips.

I'd say this is a 3 star recipe as far as flavor is concerned, but I'm giving it 4 stars because it is so economical. I added a layer of frozen peas, making it a full meal in one dish. I browned the meat with garlic and cumin, and omitted the onion (boyfriend's preference). Nothing bad about this dish at all, just nothing too special. Great meal for when you're on a budget though, thanks!

This was very good, my family loved it and, although I doubled the recipe, it was nearly gone. I give it only 4 stars because I think the amount of milk is a little to much, it was kind of soupy when I took it out of the oven.

I read the reviews and added garlic to the meat and cooked the onions along with it. I also added 1/2 container of sour cream to the "sauce" and an extra can of mushrooms. I ended up having to bake it quite a bit longer and even then the potatoes weren't done. I don't think I would try this again, even with all the additions, it was very bland.

This turned out a lot better than other "poor-man" style hamburger casseroles I've tried. I added some garlic powder to the soup mixture to liven it up a bit, but I was overzealous and overspiced it, so I thinned it out with some extra milk and a heaping tablespoon of mayonnaise, which worked well, as there was a perfect amount of sauce. I also added about 3/4 cup each of sliced carrot and celery to the sauce. I probably put more than the recomended amount of cheese on, too; I did't measure. Another thing was the recipe didn't specify whether or not to cover; it's definately one to cover! This will go on my recipe rotation.

Much better than I expected. My hubby wanted it again the next night! This would make a good potlock dish, or when you have lots of company over.

This is a good. I par boiled the potato's so I only had to bake it for 1/2 an hour. I also added some sliced fresh mushrooms and the next time I will add some sliced celery. I will definitely make this again. Quick, easy and tasty.

Definitely a keeper! It was either go out to eat or use things I had on hand to cook. I fed in ground beef & cream of mushroom & chose this recipe. After reading the reviews I added onions with ground beef, garlic powder & cajun spice. To the milk mixture I added a little fresh parsley. You can season to your own personal taste. Slice the potatoes very thin to reduce cooking time. I cooked the potatoes about 4 minutes in the micro & heated the liquid also. Cooked covered about 45 min & then added chesse & cooked uncovered for about 5 mins. We all loved it. Would be an inexpensive meal to cook for company served with salad & corn.
