Easy, quick, tasty, and filling meal. The only thing extra I did was to layer velvetta and add some garlic powered to the ground beef. This is something I will make again.

easy, quick prep. dinner with basics you usually have on hand. substituted the cr of mushroom w/ what I had, which was cream of celery. did add basil and 3 cloves of garlic, 4 potatos instead of 3, and a can of mushrooms. i think it still needs a bit more seasoning, but it was a hit w/ my kids and hubby. hubby didn't think it needed anything else. will make again.

I done gone an cajunized da recipe. I added garlic, bell pepper, and celery. I substituted fat free half and half for the milk and salt free cajun seasoning for salt and pepper. After browning the meat I mixed it with the mixture and let it marinate. Other than that I followed the recipe. It was delicious and will make again.

Loved this easy recipe! My husband requests this a couple of times a month. I make this exactly as written but I do add a can of sliced mushrooms in with the soup. Thanks for the quick meal idea.

It was alright. If I make it again, I won't layer it, I'll mix it all together. Maybe through in some sour cream and garlic or something. It was very bland to us. We used a lot of salt to "taste" it.

I think this is a really good base recipe. I read the reviews before making this and made some of my own changes as well. I added the onion to my ground beef as it was browning, and also added seasoning salt to the beef while cooking. I used cream of celery soup, added the milk and salt and pepper and miked well. I was going to be out of the house for a while so I cooked this in my crockpot. I first layered half of the potatoes on the bottom, added 1/2 of the soup mixture, then added the beef and onion mixture, poured a can of drained corn on the meat then layered the rest of the potatoes and topped it off with the rest of the soup. I cooked this for 2 hours on low, then kicked it up to high for another hour. Added the shredded cheese on top and it was wonderful! Thanks for the recipe!

Excellent recipe. Hubby raves about it. He asked for a small microwave to plug into his generator to heat this dish while on hunting trips! Only change I made: season the hamburger with garlic salt or if I forget, sprinkle it on top before serving.

This Recipe is great for Picky Eaters. It is a little too bland for my taste, but my picky brother and daughter loved it. Instead of shredding the potatoes though I used a bag Frozen Hash Browns. It worked great. This recipe will definately be used again.

I used sweet potatoes instead (trying to eat more since they are a healthier option). I also added sauzon seasoning to the hamburger when I cooked it. For the cheese I used what I had, shredded cheddar and parmesan. I was very impressed! YUMMY!

I took other reviewers advice & seasoned the meat with garlic, onion, pepper, and seasoned salt. I also added some onion soup mix to the milk and mushroom soup mixture. I substituted the ground beef for ground turkey. My kids really liked it (amazing!). My husband and I thought it was good & I will make it again.

This was so good! I doubled into a 9x13 pan. Used 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can of Campbell's cheese sauce. Very tasty and the kids took thirds!

Great Recipe, I always have the ingredents on hand and easy to make it your own, I like to add Frozen corn between the layers, and some garlic powered to the burger. Even my daughter loved it.

This is good -- it is one of those recipes that you can play around with to suit your family's taste. I added onion soup mix to the meat for a bit of extra flavor. I also used hashbrowns too.

My son was so excited because he thought this tasted like hamburger helper (which I will not feed them, although they love!) This works as a good compromise.
