Ham 'n' Swiss Rolls
SUBMITTED BY:
Marjorie Carey
"'As a nurse on the night shift, I get home at 7 a.m.,' she relates. 'So I depend on no-fuss recipes in planning breakfast for husband Joseph and me.' Among her creative morning offerings is the menu presented here. Like all beat-the-clock meals featured on this page, it can start waking up family taste buds in half an hour. 'Our grown children are big fans of ham and cheese. My Ham 'n' Swiss Rolls are perfect for families on the go,' Marjorie says."

This recipe was wonderful! The only changes I made was that I added pepper, spicy brown mustard, and bit of Miracle Whip. This will be a regular snack in my household.

YUM YUM!!! I made these for my 2 year old for lunch, and put ham and cheddar cheese in 2 for her, and in the rest I put ham, onions and gouda (I didn't have swiss, and I don't care for mustard, so I left that out)SO GOOD!!! I was thinking of all of the different yummy stuff that you could do with this...I can't wait to play with this recipe!! (I'm thinking individual baked brie's!) Thanks for the good post!!

Good and easy, but needs a little extra something and I'm not sure I can put my finger on it. A little kick of some sort. Maybe more mustard, extra onion or even some garlic as the other person suggested. I might try it next time with dijon mustard to see if that adds a kick. I'll definitely make them again.

I did not care for these. The flavors did not seem to flow very well for me. I made these for brunch and my guest liked them, me i thought they were very average.

I don't usually write my recipe reviews, but I felt I had to say how delicious these rolls were!! I don't like ham and had none in my house, so I substituted bacon (I used about a half a pound and cut it into big chunks) and I just cut up and crumbled the cheese instead of grating because I figured it was going to melt anyway ... the bacon and Swiss reminded me of a quiche and these crescents were great! I will be making again often!

I caught a sale on crescent rolls and for 33 cents a can I stocked up and went about looking on ways to use them up. This is a fun and easy recipe for afternoon snacks. I did add some ground black pepper and a shake of garlic powder. My son liked using a mustard dipping sauce with these. Thanks for the post.
