This recipe was pretty good. I did not use green peppers just because I don't care for them. I did not care for the texture the american cheese gave, or the flavor. Would use a different cheese next time, maybe cheddar. Would say this was good, not great.

Delicious but I would call this a Ham & Egg Strata. --DIY chef Margie Potts calls a Strata "a southern dish that falls somewhere between a family size omelet and a crustless quiche." Either way this recipe is great and easy. I used jarred pimentos because my family doesn't like green peppers.

Very easy dish to make. The only change I made was using grated cheddar and just sprinkled it on top instead of melting it. I made this for Easter Monday brunch using the ham left overs from Sunday dinner. It was so nice to not have to prepare it in the morning. We served it with a spinach salad and pan fried potatoes. Everyone loved the meal!

Made this the night before for dinner the next day. Only changes were to cut the butter a bit and stir in grated old cheddar instead of the processed, as that was what I had. Absolutely delicious. Great cold, too.

I suggest sprinkling shredded cheese over the bread mixture then pouring on the melted butter.I didn't use processed cheese and it didn't mix well with the butter. That made it hard to pour.I also added salt and pepper. It came out good even though I didn't refrigerate over night.

My family loved this. I made it Easter morning, very easy because all the work was done the night before. My son is rather picky with new things, but he ate this right up.

This was a great and easy recipe to make, especially for a beginner like me. I have made this twice without letting it sit overnight and both times it has come out great. I did make some changes for the second time around. Instead of white bread I used CHALLAH; instead of 2 cups of Ham I used 1 cup of ham and 1 cup of sausage; and last to the 1/2 cup of green peppers, I changed it to 3/4 green peppers and 3/4 onion. WOW did it come out great. I have never gotten so many great compliments.

exccellent!!! Made a few changes. I substituted the green pepper with onion. Instead of using processed cheese I grated in 2 cups of cheese in to a white sauce recipe. I then topped it off with brick parmesan cheese. I did'nt let it sit overnight and it still turned out great. Definately a keeper.
