My whole family loved this dish. I used half shredded swiss and half shredded cheddar, and that was only change I made. We devoured it!

This was very tasty, used sauted mushrooms instead of green peppers. Loved it and will make it again.

This recipe is great. I used a pre-shredded cheddar mix instead of Swiss but you can use any combo. I did embellish a bit but that's what I do. This really had the feel of mac-n-cheese and DH loved it. I sauteed the onion & green pepper with 1 clove garlic then tossed in 1 cup frozen peas to thaw them. Didn't layer just stirred everything together and then gently folded in the noodles. I then threw a couple of handfuls (1/4 cup)of bread crumbs in the sautée pan with a pat of butter and handful of grated Parmesan cheese to create a topping which I sprinkled on top - superb!

Very Good. I made a few substitutions for what I had at home. I used cream of chicken soup, 1 cup french onion chip dip made with sour cream for the 1 cup of sour cream & omitted the onion & green pepper. I cooked the noodles & then mixed the rest together & put it in the crock-pot on low for 3 hrs.

Well, I didn't really follow the recipe but I'm giving it 5 stars anyways! I was looking to use up leftover ham and this was perfect. Instead of cream of celery soup, I used cream of mushroom. I omitted the green peppers and added sauteed chopped onion and mushrooms. I didn't layer the casserole, but just mixed it all in a big bowl and poured it into a 9X13 pan. I topped it with a little extra swiss cheese, too. Very quick and easy! Great for a weeknight meal when you need to use up some things from the fridge.

Needed something quick to bring to a neighbor and found this. Doubled the recipe so we could have one. I left out the pepers, and layered everything and then put soup mixture on top layers because I feared it would be too dry if the last layer was noodles. Husband LOVED it. Thanks so much.

Great base recipe. Next time I will saute the onions, add garlic, and throw in some broccoli or asparagus.

It was good, my husband had 2nds but my 1 year old picked out the ham. The onions and peppers cooked for 45 minutes and were still on the crunchy side. Next time I think I will add a can of green peppers, swap the swiss cheese with pepper jack cheese, swap the green pepper with red or orange peppers (for color), swap the cream of celery with cream of chicken and swap the ham with cooked chicken.
