What a great way to use up food you already have on hand. I doubled the recipe & cooked in 9x13 (b/c I wanted to use up the rest of the ham I had from a couple of days ago) I used 1 bag of thawed broccoli florets & most of one 2 cup bag of sharp cheddar. Also, I usually prefer crm of mushroom but had none so I use 1 crm of chicken & 1 crm of celery (celery soup complimented flavors perfectly) Good thing I doubled it, otherwise we wouldn't have any for leftovers for tomorrow. My 2yr, who's usually a single serving, play-with-your-food kind of toddler, had 3 servings & ate it up in an instant, no playing. The little woman went to town on her dinner, tonight.

Very good, used broccoli, brown rice and colby-jack cheese. Baked for 20-25 mins. Good way to used leftover ham

A good everything-but-the-kitchen-sink recipe. I made it for the first time last night and followed the recipe exactly, but I can see using whatever vegetables, meat, and/or cheese I have on hand.

I used cream of mushroom soup and plain ol' frozen veggies. I had a bunch of already cooked brown rice. I fried up my left-over ham from a batch of scalloped potatoes and did up the casserole -- hubby just had to pop it into the oven when he got home. We had to bake it longer, but our oven doesn't work right. I found the ham was too salty (and I LOVE salt) so I think next time I'll try it with pork tenderloin or leftover chicken. Any meat would work in this, really. I bet it'd be great with canned tuna, even!

This is a great recipe, its very easy to change it to suit your tastes. I usually double the recipe, use cubed turkey ham insteads of ham, omit the mixed veggies for corn and add some extra cheese. It turns out great!

I really enjoyed this quick casserole. As the mother of three small children, I need quick, easy, and delicious meals. I did use cream of mushroom soup (don't like cream of chicken at all) and used a 10oz package of frozen broccoli (thawed). I will definitely make this again!

Good one dish meal. Not as cheesy as I thought it would be, but still good. :)

Simple and tasty, perfect home cooked comfort food, and something even my toddler ate. Might try substituting chicken next time- the ham I used was a little salty.

Good with a few flavorful additions! Followed other's ideas, using Cr. of Mushroom Soup and thawed frozen broccoli. Also added chopped onions, green pepper and red pepper. Mixed in some Thyme and garlic powder. Topped with French Fried Onions the last few minutes of baking. Served with fresh ground pepper available for those who wanted alittle more flavor. Yum!!

It was good; I substitued green beans and added 1/4 cup french fried onion bits on top...I think I will add even more french onion bits next time and maybe cream of mushroom soup instead of chicken.

We enjoyed this recipe. Made a few changes due to using what I had on hand. Used cream of mushroom soup and frozen chopped broccoli. Used sharp cheddar freshly shaved. Was very tasty and and easy to make. Will try chicken next time instead of ham. Give it a try.
