Great idea! I made these into breakfast puffs by adding one egg to the mixture. Didn't have onion so I used onion powder instead. In the bowl it doesn't look like enough to fill the muffin cups, but it worked out beautifully. We topped with some sweet jalapeno sauce and they were perfect! Next time I will make sure to grease the pan more generously, as it was difficult sometimes to get the puffs out without scraping the sides.

These were pretty good. I would make them when I go to an event, but not really for snacks around the house.

Everyone LOVED these! I doubled the recipe so that one batch could be no onions. I'm glad I didn't use all the onion suggested on the w/ onions batch b/c that would have been WAY too much onion! Will definitely make again!

Excellent! The mustard "makes" this recipe! I don't use the onion, though.

I've made these for parties before and they're always a hit. Be sure not to use too much onion. Chop it finely or grate it. I use about 1/3 of a cup. People can't seem to get enough of these.

I just made these for a party today, and they were a huge hit! They were quick and easy, and adults and kids liked them. Next time I'll make a double batch because they went fast. Thanks for a great appetizer recipe!

Onion flavor was very strong. I may make again and just use some onion powder or much less onion.

These were so, so easy to make! I made them for my St. Patty's Day party and threw them together just as guests were showing up. I followed the directions exactly except I used fresh ground pepper and for the onions, I added a little less than 1/4 cup of the Zataran's dried onions (I find these work better than other brands of dried onions because they plump up quickly and easily, even without cooking...however, I am not sure if I have seen them in many stores outside Lousiana). Even though I had a ton of great food, these were the only things that I didn't have left over. Everyone loved them! I will definitely make them again!

Instead of crescent rolls, I used puff pastry dough. I used a Campbell's soup can as a cookie cutter and the size was perfect to fill the mini muffin pan. With pastry dough, the cooking time was closer to 20-25 minutes. Much flakier and more delicate than crescent dough. Big hit at our poker party!

These were good but I think next time I'll probably add a bit more cheese and dijon mustard. Recipe is a keeper though.

I added garlic, green chilies and some cilantro because I was using them for an appetizer to enchiladas. They were really bland and nothing to really get excited about. I also thought there was too much dough for the amount of filling. Maybe pie crust would work better.

I thought I'd take a chance on these for a Christmas party, and boy am I glad I did. Everyone begged for the recipe! I made them again for another party, and they got gobbled up again! They are good warmed up the next day, too. (IF there are any left!)

These were really yummy! I made them as an appetizer last New Year's Eve, and we ate the leftovers for breakfast the next mornig, as they do have a quiche-like flavor. The kids loved them too!

These were super easy and very tasty! They'd be great appetizers to use leftover holiday ham. I used cheddar cheese and put in a bit too much onion (half a med. one). Next time I'll use less onion, as it was overpowering. But overall a great recipe!
