YUMMY! The only thing I did different was I used crushed tomatoes, Cholula, and added extra ham and garlic. I accidentally added the tomatoes and chiles at the beginning. That will teach me to read the directions thouroughly!

Very good soup. I dumped it all in a crockpot (after boiling the beans) and it turned out great! Its very flavorful and colorful. I used yellow for green peppers (no big change) and had to leave out the pepper sauce because of small children but otherwise followed the recipe to a "T".

Amazing and Delicious and Hearty and just Yum. I use 1 lb cooked sausage and 1 lb ham hocks. I combined all ingredients and threw in the crockpot, on low for 6-8 hours. Result was delicious. Definitely a keeper.

Great soup! Made some alterations for faster prep, but I'll do a custom recipe link. A great recipe!

This soup was liked by my whole family (kids included)! I put in extra brat pieces. I also used Cholula sauce instead of "hot pepper sauce". That added some nice flavor without as much zing.

Used 2 cups of beans, dried from Costco, no sausage, one can of tomatoes. Everything else the same, no hot sauce, but 1/2 tsp chili powder. Really good

This was a great recipe!! I cooked a ham bone in the slow cooker overnight and then used the broth and meat from that as my base instead of the water.

My hubbie isn't a big soup lover, but I was hoping this recipe would convert him. I used cajun smoked sausage to give it some zing, and he loved it!! Will be making again!

This soup is delicious! I had a ham hock to use up so I cooked the hock and used the broth as the base for the soup instead of water. I used kielbasa instead of bratwurst since it's what I had, but followed the rest of the recipe exactly as it's written. This is a keeper.
