I used broccoli instead of parsley and pimento peppers, and no onion. Served over rice instead of noodles. Husband and kids devoured it! So easy, and saved my bacon on one of those "Aaahh, it's 4:30pm and I still haven't figured out dinner!" nights. Thank you Susan!

Good recipe, I'll make it again. I made it in my crockpot instead of the stovetop. I skipped the onions, butter, pimento and fresh parsley completely. In the crockpot I mixed the cream of mushroom soup with milk instead of water, added the ham, used mozzarella & romano cheese instead of cheddar, added a can of mushrooms & some onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and dried parsley and let it all cook for a few hours. Then I cooked the spaghetti, mixed it with the sauce and topped with fresh grated romano.

Yum. As some others have advised, I used 1/2 white wine and 1/2 water, and it gave it a lovely flavour. Also added two cloves of garlic in with the onion, because... well... I love garlic! Doubled the cheese, but that was because I misread the recipe. The hardest part about this yummy dish for me was getting it to the table for the family, rather than eating it straight out of the pan after I tasted. Delish!

This was a good ham recipe - and it really couldn't get much easier. I did add some peas for color, used reduced fat soup and cheese, and didn't have pimento. Great quick meal for a weeknight.

My kids are 3 1/2 and 20 months. They really liked the recipe. I added pepper and salt. Very kid friendly. You can definitely play with this recipe and personalize it to your own liking.

This was simple and quick to put together. I used angel hair noodles and cheeses (Parmesan, cheedar and jack) I had on hand to make a half cup. I also used milk in place of the water. While it was pretty good, I doubt I will make it again.

This was good. We had bought a Honey Baked ham and had a lot left over so I searched for things to make with it. The ham definitely made this recipe. I did add a touch of white wine and used milk in place of water. I added a small amount of sauce to my noodles as it was quite rich....but good.

I am giving this 5 stars b/c each the 4 members of my family thought it was great, and I was sure my husband was going to turn his nose up at it. I have to say that I was skeptical b/c the base was soup, but the flavor was there. Really creamy, too. Great way to use leftover ham, and it couldn't have been easier to make. I followed the recipe exactly - always do the first time I make anything. Thanks for sharing!

With the changes I made this deserves 5 stars. I used cream of chicken soup with at least 1 c. milk (no water) and parmesan cheese instead of cheddar. I added peas for color, some minced garlic, and chopped tomatoes at the very end. I used more ham, a bit more pasta, and no parsley or pimentos. I just used what I had on hand and my DH and I both thought it turned out great. Thanks for the post!

Fast, easy, quick, and kids enjoyed the leftover ham in a new way. Didn't add parsley or pimento, but it's a keeper! Thanks for the post.

This was a great recipe. I, too, made a couple changes for my taste. I sauted lots of minced garlic (about 2 tablespoons. My family loves garlic) with the onions. Then instead of water, I used about 3/4 can of chicken broth because I had more noodles and needed to get more sauce than the original recipe. I also followed another review and chopped up very small fresh broccoli pieces and added about 2/3 cup when I added the ham. This was perfect for my taste, but if you like your veggies soft, then the broccoli should be added with the soup so it can cook longer. I added pepper to the finished product and parsley for the final touch. Since I cooked this dish for a potluck dinner, I used fetticini noodles so when I reheated it, I didn't end up with a dried-up mush pile. I also added some milk upon reheat to moisten up the dish.

I used almost fat-free mushroom soup and only 1/4 C. cheese. My husband and I have weird hours, so he eats a lot of left overs. He talks about this meal every day when we chat about what he ate for dinner that day. Kudos.

this makes a quick, tasty meal! I was able to use up some leftover angel hair pasta, and it went over really well with my husband. Changes I made: I doubled the cheese, and used half sharp cheddar, half cheddar/jack mix. I added 1/2c green onions, and a little minced garlic while I sauteed the onions. I also thought it looked a little dry, so added about 3/4 c milk while it simmered. Yum!

I added a little milk at the end because it seemed dry. I used whole wheat wide egg noodles. My little kids did like this recipe. I thought it lacked flavor.

I made this recipe for my family a few days ago with leftover ham. I normally stay away from recipes with canned soup, but this sounded so easy and different for a quick meal. It was a big hit and I will be making this again.

This was really good! My alterations were adding garlic, bell peppers, a bit more ham & cheese. Added some cajun seasoning and used egg noodles. I didn't add the parsley or pimentos. It seems really versatile to add whatever you have on hand.

after a long afternoon of negotiating for a new car, i was frazzled. dinner was overdue and the kids were hungry. i had looked at this recipe the night before and decided to try it. what a hit! it was quick, easy, and delicious. i subbed fat free half and half for the water, which gave me a thick, creamy sauce. thanks for helping me to use those easter ham leftovers.
