I didn't have any pineapple but I did have a small can of pineapple juice. I was making a ham slice for two people so I halved the recipe and used almost the entire 4oz can of pineapple juice in making the sauce and followed the recipe. I cut the baking time by 5 minutes as it was only 1lb but it was a thick cut slice. It came out perfect and what a tasty delight. I will certainly serve this again. Thank you Ruth for a great addition to my menu selection.

Scrumptious! It was so good I made it again the following week, and I don't usually repeat dishes that quickly. I added a dash of ground cloves, some fresh ground black pepper and 1 teas minced roasted garlic but it would have been just as delicious without the added seasoning.

This was easy, and except the ham and pineapple uses ingredients I usually have on hand -- I'm sure we'll make this again. I skipped the step of browning the ham with butter and it still tasted fine.

Loved it!! Fantastic, fancy-ish. The ham was moist and juicy. I made one change (mistake really) I used 0.31lbs of ham but followed the rest of the directions. And I squeezed fresh oranges for the OJ.

This was very good. Had to use crushed pineapple but it worked well. My ham steak was not quick thick enough, but that worked out, too. Hubby loved it and ate the leftovers before I had a chance to get to them!

easy and delicious - didn't have enough juice from pineapple (I was using up some from a previous recipe) so I added a little water and large spoon of apricot preserves to the sauce. I made scalloped potatoes, candied sweet potatoes and fresh asparagus with it.

Made this, but didn't have any orange juice on hand so I omitted it and it still turned out great.

This was a very tasty recipe. My modifications: I used 1/2 apple juice, 1/2 water because I didn't have OJ. I used crushed pineapple instead of sliced and dumped the can (fruit and all) into the pot with the rest of the sauce ingredients to boil. Insead of baking the ham in the oven, I just left it in the frying pan after browning, covered and simmered in the water the ham let off. It was great served with the sauce spooned over top.

This was super easy and really tasty! I realized after I started making it that I didn't have any brown sugar so I substituted regular sugar and molasses which worked perfectly. I also added a couple of cloves of minced garlic to the glaze while it was cooking and strained it out before the ham went in the oven. Thanks so much for the recipe, my hubby and I both really enjoyed it.

The sweetness of the glaze was an excellent compliment to the saltiness of the ham. We will definitely make this again!
