Delicious! Only had pineapple chunks, used 1/2 cup of the juice in the sauce and about 1/2 the can on the ham. Really enjoyed the sweetness!

This was just ok. The ham steak seemed to get tougher and the sauce was very liquidy so that all just stayed in the dish. I won't be making this again.

This was really good. I'm so scatter brained that I misread the recipe and completely forgot the browning in the skillet step. I just put the ham in a baking dish poured the sauce on and threw it in the oven. When I realized my mistake I just set it on broil for the last ten minutes and it all was good. I also used a twenty ounce can of pineapple because we like plenty of it. Some reviewers mentioned that it was too sweet but I think I would have actually liked it a little sweeter. Next time I will add a little more brown sugar. Just personal preference. I served it with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My family really enjoyed it.

Perfect! Hubby said it was the best ham he ever had, and I'm happy because it was so easy to make. I sprinkled some fresh currants over the pineapple and it really tasted great and looked very festive for Christmas.

WOW! The glaze on this Ham is incrediable. I did brown the ham steak as instructed. I did not have OJ so used another review and added apple juice instead. I was afraid it would not have enough Orange flavor so added in 1/2 teaspoon of Orange extract. Just amazing thank you so much!

My husband was really skeptical about this one--he's usually not a fan of using fruit in main dishes. One taste and he decided that we'd found a new way to make ham steak! My 8-year-old daughter also gobbled it up. Good, quick weeknight dinner too.

Instead of orange juice, I used some pomegranate juice that was left over from a New Years Eve party. I used molasses instead of brown sugar. It was a dish very well received. Next time, I might put some white pepper instead of ginger.
